    How does one even throw a compliment without sounding arrogant? This is good. Thanks for the demonstration. If I don't achieve playing this tasteful, I can still listen, as long as there are some good players like yourself out there giving us something to listen to.

    Beautiful soloing. Rich is one of the most tasteful and melodic players I’ve heard. Why isn’t he more well known? I know his channel is popular but as a solo artist who records and plays live I’ve never heard of him.

    I love scales Rich. It enables me to solo and improvise until kingdom come. As a teacher I teach scales all the time.

    Very cool. I will definitely mess around with this. Haven't got into any bebop scales yet, but I do play with some Barry Harris chromatic scale ideas, and I like the idea of using both possible 7ths.

    Amazing how 1-2 scales can carry you through an entire song. No need to play different sales for different chords and changes...

    Your "golden scale" is also the E natural minor scale with an added major seventh.
