Exactly what I was looking for. So happy there was no intro talking and no explanation only a perfectly played tune with tabs and chords. Brilliant. I am subscribing. Thank you.
That's a good way to teach this song. People get so bogged down with chord progressions and TAB that they lose sight of the primary element: The Melody.
Love the way you simplify the song without loosen the feelings of this great composition. Thanks for sharing your precious time and talent with us. From Puerto Rico. fonsito, PhD
I’m a little new to this sort of guitar playing and this song as a whole. Can anyone tell me which part of autumn leaves is the “chorus”. Please tell me which bar it starts and where it ends.
Autumn leaves is an AAB form. The A section plays twice and then the B section. It’s not a verse chorus type structure. A lot of older jazz tunes are AABA or AAB or AB etc. People will sometimes refer to the B section as the bridge but it’s not the same as the bridge in a current pop song.
@@dylantorrance Thank you, I had a feeling they weren’t referred to as choruses in jazz. But recently I was asked in a project for school to play the “chorus” to autumn leaves and I was very confused. Still not sure what they’re asking me for.

Amen to that.
A lot of these tutorials are 90% splaining. Let music do the talking.

Muito bom (Very good) !!!
may I ask what type of AMP are you using to create that warm sound? and What is your Knobs setting on your hollow guitar? it sounds so beautiful
any tube amp with Gibson 57 hollow or semi hollow body guitar and big gage strings will get you that kind of tone 😊
Thanks for sharing 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
No prob, thank you
Greatness Sir!!! By the way, what guitar are you using... The Tone is divine.
Thanks! Gibson Es 339
When playing the chords, do u pluck? It doesn't seem like your strumming them🤔im a beginner guitar player so all of this is new to me lol
I believe I was plucking with my middle and ring finger, but I strum the chords at the end
@@dylantorrance appreciate the help, thanks a lot
It almost sounds like 'A Lovely Night' a soundtrack from the movie La La Land haha
I'm having difficulty with those double notes, my finger just isn't fast enough or don't coordinate.

@@dimii_music In jazz, a chorus typically refers to one time through the form.
What are the dashes in the chord? I'm not familiar with that notation. Is an A-7 just an A7? Or is it something else like a minor? As in Am7?
See A-7 is Am7, A triangle 7 is Amaj7, and A7 is A dominant 7.
I Love your tone ...what type and gauge are the strings you use and what amp ?
Thanks! D'Addario 10s. No amp, just direct in
Can you post a bass tab?
Yea, I'll see if I can put together some videos with bass TABs as well
Hello, where can I find the backing track?
I have all my backing tracks on my Patreon page. Middle tier patrons get unlimited access to all my PDFs and backing tracks 👍
hey man what guitar are you using
In this video I was using my Gibson es339. In my more recent videos I’ve been using an Eastman 503 (it’s also red but darker and a full hollow body)
Is the tab wrong on measure 16? Notes on the staff are E -> G+C# -> G+C.
1.25x perfect
Why is it written like E-6 and not just E6
E-6 (E minor 6). E6 is E major 6
shus the chords!
