Gliding Submarine Challenge is as CRAZY as it Sounds! (Trailmakers Multiplayer Gameplay)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey everyone! Welcome to this week's episode of Trailmakers Thursday! This week we decided to do something with submarines....something wild! What sounds more wild than jumping submarines out of the water and gliding them in order to complete awesome stunts?! Nothing...nothing sounds better than that. I hope you enjoyed watching us compete in this challenge as much as we enjoyed doing it, and we'll see you next week!
Thanks for watching the video! If you enjoyed it, make sure to like it, share it with your friends and give me your feedback in the comments below!

About Trailmakers:
Build a car, a plane, a boat or maybe a… carplaneboat? With Trailmakers intuitive builder, it is as easy as snapping together real building blocks. Take your machines on dangerous exploration missions, breakneck rally races, or go to the sandbox and build that hovercraft you have always dreamt about.
- Build intuitively with modular blocks - it is easy to get started, and the possibilities are almost infinite.
- Explore a vast open world and escape the planet in the survival game mode “Stranded in Space”
- Go on breakneck rally races with vehicles of your own making.
- Create without constraints in two sandbox maps full of jumps, half pipes, an aircraft carrier, catapults and other crazy obstacles.
- Compete on the global leaderboards in rally and race mode.
- Four player drop in drop out multiplayer game modes.
- An active and growing community with tons of premade vehicles ready to test.
- There is always something to do: Join the Trailmakers Rally, take on challenges, play in the sandbox, race your friends on the centrifuge or just pewpew each other to bits. - Игры
That creation looks fun to drive. I have to build one too.
For future Multiplayer: Downhill Slalom around explosiv barrels. Wheels without engines, because skies don't work in Trailmakers unfotunatelly.
And I'd like to see some Main Assembly Multiplayer. Jausting on the rollercoaster. Wallclimbing with suction pads, skie trick jumps, etc.
The skess actually work, they added this a couple of updates ago so that the skess have small friction.
I'm thinking if add a altitude sensor which activate above sea level. It trigger a detachable block to dump off the propeller. The vehicle will save a lot of weight to gliding much better.
dude...that would have been a MINT design loophole. I'll keep that in mind for next time :P
Especially when jumping for the catapult it looked like you were pulling the nose up. While it's instinctive to do so, that is actually incorrect. When flying you need to keep the air speed up and if it is an unpowered flight the only way to do it is to push the nose down. The "flare" or pulling up is reserved for when you are really low to the ground and are just about to land. At that time you will be slowed down and the flare will almost act as a speed brake before you 'fall out of the sky' those last few inches. And don't worry, if you point the nose down and go fast enough to actually fly you _will_ have enough air speed for a bit of maneuvering next to the ground and to flare for a nice soft landing.
As for TM specifically, try adding another set of toggle-able hinges to your ailerons to flip them down as flaps/air brakes. You will still retain roll control as well, which is nice. For larger control surfaces use two stacked 2x2x1 servos instead of hinges.
Dang...the air brake tip is MINT. Definitely will have to use that if the opportunity arises again.
You're dead on about me pulling up...I even FELT that the vehicle glided better when I wasn't pulling up as much, but never corrected myself amidst all the chaos aha. A bit more practice with the vehicle would have helped.
But hey...ya win some ya learn some :)
Thanks for always providing helpful technical tips, man!
@@darealkosmo Glad to help out, Kosmo. Hopefully you will beat Scrapman one day :)
Going through the backlog on all 3 channels because I love these. You and Kan jumped out of the water way before you got to land, I don't understand why you were doing that, and then pitching so high up in the air even though you had control... Either way, Scrapman just went full beast mode and all of the attempts made for a good video.
F for kAN
WHO NEEDS SLEEP ANYWAYS
WOOOOO
The real challenge is scrapman
scrap man should get the worst car or they just do a screw your neighbor
This was really cool. I like "challenge" type episodes. What if you do a "challenge" episode in the stranded in space where you have to pick up salvage pieces and do things with them? (that means you have to finish your world first tho!)
I've watched all these videos on all your channels at least twice but I'm back again hahaha love your videos Kosmo buddy.
I love your video's and I can't stop watching them, you deserve much more subscribers :P
Keep it up!
you guys should make a scrapman vs 2 or 3 challenge :D scrapman needs to eliminate all of you to win but you just need to eliminate him. it can be a stunt challenge like this one or 2-3 tanks aganist a plane maybe? or scrapman can choose what parts you use but you can't restrict anything on him. gotta balance it somehow :D
Dont understand how you dont have more subs. Scrapman is fun to watch and all but his editing has gotten a bit lazy as of late it feels. He plays the same songs every video. Not trying to be negative I just really support the effort that goes into your work
That's what feels wrong about sm videos. I've been watching him since 2016.
Cool challenge, entertaining too:)
Hi kosmo, love your vids. Keep up the work.
I'm here for the laughs
It bugs me... Why dont you try to build something propelled from the front, if you propel from the back you loose the steering abilities, get inspired by the planes when flying, you dont propel from the back when the exhaust isnt an issue (pre jet planes, propeller ones). Another thing is when you glide and angle upward, you loose speed much faster, if you need extra distance, you can "buy" it at expense of height. The catapult thing could be done, sorry, but I blame operator ;) Good effort thou, against the odds, still good fight :)
100% doable, just needed more practice driving my creation :)
"...build something propelled from the front, if you propel from the back you loose the steering abilities, get inspired by the planes when flying, you dont propel from the back..."
While that was correct for earlier airplanes, these days there are plenty of planes that use pusher props. Look at a larger twin-engine Piaggio P-180 or something as small as Quad City Challenger or Quicksilver GT, they use pushers. Icon flying boat is another good example of a pusher that's up high to keep it out of the splash zone when on water. Cessna Skymaster is a rather curious example since it has two engines and two props, one in the front pulling and another in the back pushing.
@@AgentWest I get your point, but there are far more planes propelled from the front (when they had an option, that is without jets) and I trust airlines engineers enough to believe it to be the more efficient way. By the way, even some jets have propulsion located much closer to the front than the back, by that I mean heavy passenger liners like boeing 747, or any plane capable of fitting an engine on its wings. There were some experiments and examples you mention, but the vast majority propells from front, this seems to be the better way. It looks like they got that idea that it doesnt have to be in the front, but got back to it after seeing the alternatives in action. Both options are viable, but one is clearly better, just like 4 wheels in cars. We tried with 3, but unless you cant handle the weight (trucks), its best with 4. But its just a game, so dragging the rest of the vehicle behind seems more sure in steering than pushing it and hoping that it will go the right way, especially obvious with Kosmo's submarine v1 from trailmakers stranded in space ep 1
Challenge: Do the wallrides on the Treasure Island map, using a vehicle that has standard wheels and no downforce or tailfins. Core limit under 20?
This is almost the same as Crainer Jelly and Slogo there the same colors like lol
Yeah, except for that one thing with the time zones that happened with Crainer
Also, does this comment mean by some mental links that Slogoman wins 94% of the time?
Literally what I thought
I meant the colors
Not to be rude
this is so cool
Tbh those would just be cool for a map race??? Thoughts?
Scrapman looking like a cooked shrimp. Love you alll!
Hey Kosmo! A few days ago I wrote you an email. Keep it going, dude.
I'm still asking for the outro music.
Can't find it in the description and Shazam couldn't discover it too.
Kosmo please help ,this thing is stuck in my head for days.
haha sorry buddy, the track doesn’t actually have a name, but if you e-mail me kosmotoyt@gmail.com I can email you the music file :)
