  • TO BE CLEAR: THIS DOES NOT FULLY SOLVE THE ROTATION ISSUES. I'm going to be working on a 3d printed part replacement to fix it fully, but no time estimate for when that will be done.
I found these fixes while doing a bunch of mod bits for the Deuce Pro, so here ya go.

Good on ya, figured the rotation issue was probably an issue like That 👌🏻 you might be the first person to give direction to “cram it into the cavity” in a nerf video 😂

I did this a few days ago. I can replicate a skip still, pretty easily. I added a stronger spring and kept the original for a double spring. It does improve, but doesn't solve the "panic" prime and skip.

This video helped me out, I found an ink joy clicky-pen spring that works perfectly well. The slide lock is now defeatable after rounding the shoulder that stops the return and putting 4 pieces of heat shrink over the wider plastic spring arm. I haven’t replaced the safety trigger with a suitable delete yet but all the other mods have been done on two different deuce pro revolvers. Also, I want to mention that cylinder swap is pretty easy and seems to me more of a low key left-handers blaster in general 😉

I don't think that rotation (skipping) issue will ever be resolved, unless the parts are replaced with precision metal or something. Any skipping for a revolver is totally useless for me. Dart Zone should recall and fix the problem at the factory. Excellent video btw..

Seems to me a good fix would be to change the shape of the notch and rotation hub teeth so rotation would index properly all the time

Cheers Bruv! You’re a legend. In addition to your improvements I would like to share a fun fact I discovered while I was watching. An aftermarket scar barrel that fits the Nexus or Aeon Pro will also friction fit to the Deuce Pro but not with the included barrel attached. You would have to friction fit it on to the Deuce itself. Thus for reducing the length of the Deuce and FPS in regards to the included barrel attachment but….You will still have more length for the dart to accelerate under compression and it looks really cool!

Many thanks for being the one to do this. Hopefully someone sells it as I have no 3d printer, nor know anyone around me with one, so no other way to obtain such.

I did the same to mine, but it still wasn’t working reliably. I actually found if you upgrade the spring under the wedge part and the star/toothy part of the rotation (rototion lol) mech, it works 80% of the time. I’ll take that over a 1/6 chance.

I had the same issue but mines was 50%. While indexing it would reliably skip a chamber.
Pen springs vary so much it would be hard to make it a universal fix. I had to snip it to make the spring shorter and it was noticeably stronger than the stock spring.

I ran across the same thing. 100% of the time, it would skip one cylinder. Realized the forces of the cylinder were hopping after coming to a stop but not because of the wedge. The toothy bit was spring into the blaster allowing the cylinder to always make an extra hop. I didnt have a spring big enough to replace the toothy plunger one so instead I cut a spacer out of the same ball point pen that i used for the other part of this mod and forced it into the plunger. has to be an exact fit to allow the spring to be affected but still allow the plunger to move the full distance (or you wont be able to get the cylinder out). The only problem with this mod is that it now takes a TON of effort to remove the cylinder each time. But it does fire reliably.

hey just found this vid, nice work! what about some kind of a spring spacer if you don't have a replacement spring for the rotation mech?

Could work. You could try a folded piece of paper with some super glue.

Do you need to pry the top part of the shell to open the blaster?

No? Unless you mean the plastic tabs, in which case just lightly move them out of the way with a flat head screwdriver.
