Rnd 1: 6 sc into magic ring
Rnd 2: inc x 6 times (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) 6 times (24)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) 6 times (30)
Rnd 6: (5 sc, inc) 5 times (35)
Points of Stars
R 1: 7sc
R 2: turn your work, 5 sc, dec
R 3: turn your work, 4 sc, dec
R 4: turn your work, 3 sc, dec
R 5: turn your work, 2 sc, dec
R 6: turn your work, 1 sc, dec
R 7: turn your work, dec
R 8: sc 5 or 6 on the side (for reference: 9:57)
repeat 4 times
note: for the second star, don't cut off yarn to sc the two stars together to make one ear muff
leave one point open to put stuffing in then continue crocheting until the star is closed off (don't overstuff)

I actually used an old headband to add some rigidity! :)
If you want a more secure fit and to have the bottom straps invisible, you can cut some slips into the star (on the inner side) close to the strap and glue the headband under the top strap and stick it in the insides of the stars.
I preferred the look of thinner straps so instead of working 3 hdcs like the tutorial, I used chains (seen in the thumbnail). I also tie the straps behind my head (they work fine so I don't need to thicken them) since the earmuffs can fall off if you're not careful.

Why do the straps you wore in the video and the straps you made look different? IMO, the straps you showed us how to make is kinda flat and large while the one you wore looked so thin. I'm puzzled for real. Could you help me pls? BTW, I love your videos!
Well, with the thin straps (only with chains), the earmuffs keep falling T_T

also, for the sewing part, why not use the same method of the double crochet u used on the other side of the headband ? thank u for the lovely tutorial ☆
For sewing the two stars, only using sc or sl st is the option. The headband and strap can be changed if you want but the stars have to be exactly followed as the pattern says.♡

for the strap to connect, it seems thinner when u wear it. did u make it thinner after, or am i seeing things? also, do i repeat the straps on both sides?
Please follow the tutorial. The thin strap couldn't hold the earmuffs well. So i got to change it after I took photos with the earmuffs ♡

hi i want to ask you how could i make my star larger i use ac yarn and4. 5 hook
Thee star is kinda large already. If you want to make bigger one, after (5 sc, inc) , add more rows like (6 sc, inc), (7 sc, inc),(8 sc, inc).....
When you do make pointy parts, the starting sc must be the answer of stitchesdivided by 5. If your last row has 45 stitches, 45÷5=9 .so start with 9 sc for each pointy part.
Will a 4/4.5mm hook work ?

idk why but my points never turn out even ): the last two are always huge
A point's startimg row must have 7 sc, if you get more you will get big one.
If the stitches are more than 7, make decreases in first row of pointy part.

I used 100 g of 5 ply yarn but I think 70g is enough♡
