I love the idea of taping the bottle of bubbles to the railing! I’m stealing that hack😊❤!!
Genius level hack on the bubbles taped to the railing!
You look so peaceful and happy, it's lovely to see. Also the way you handled the problem with watering was very kind hearted, deliberately not calling out the child or shaming him but gently teaching. Finally, what a nice time with only Justice and you. Congratulations to Grace!
Grace is so beautiful ~ inside and out! You are so Blessed Bri. ALL your children are reflections of how you have raised them and treated them from day one. You give them all the gift of LOVE and it shows! It was so special to see the twins while singing your Praise song - and how she was swaying and full of joy and he was checking her out... and you could tell that he was learning from her. They are amazing ~ the twins ~ and ALL the children! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! in the Name of Jesus Christ!
I’m surprised your HOA allowed such a large garden and a greenhouse. Your lucky
Your brother has so blessed you and you have so blessed your children! 💕
What a lovely way to start my day. The glances and smiles from the twins during singing at breakfast-cuteness overload. ❤
I sometimes teach classes for homeschool co op and I always say we do t make mistakes…we only make correctable solutions!! The kids love that!! They feel like it’s ok to don’t do everything right the first time. They’re all learning experiences!! Love the way you felt with the watering situation!!❤❤❤
When I homeschooled my granddaughter I would tell her school was for learning new things. If we already knew it we wouldn’t need to learn it. That helped her when she became frustrated.
I love that you garden with your children and you do it in such a peaceful manner that the children love being with you❣️
I also love that you teach them as you go and not just by doing but letting them try also!! It was wonderful when I heard you say that your child was far more important than any plant that might get killed accidentally!!😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️
How incredible that statement was and how good that made the child feel and he will reflect on that for years to come.
Another thing you did, Bri, Was to teach all the children about watering at the same time instead of shaming to one little boy for what he did wrong. Again your statement was that you would never humiliate him in front of the others or make him feel bad because his self-worth was more important than correcting him in front of the other children!!!! What a wonderful mother you are❣️❣️
In terms of the cardboard blowing away and weighting it down, Some thing I did was she put dirt on it, not necessarily completely over the entire amount of cardboard but just enough at the end inside and even the middle, if it was a big piece, So that it could not Blow away… you might have to replace some of the dirt mid summer but that would depend on how much wind and rain you had. I noticed that some of your cardboard was very shiny on one side so it was very good that you put that side up otherwise it would make a barrier for moisture to get through. Also, you can use newspaper instead of cardboard and it does not harm the plants. I used newspaper a lot in my Garden when I did not
Have access to cardboard. Just another idea for keeping barriers between plants.
Easter can be everyday, but we are in the 40 days of Easter then he goes on up. Y’all always a pleasure
Beautiful children. Grace is amazing. Besides her school work, she jumps right in with everything and knows what needs to be done 💕🙏🏼
Grace was always beautiful but she is becoming stunning. I pray she is lovin her new life💕💕
How pleased God must be to hear you all sing the praises of our Heavenly Father for your blessing. It lifts me everytime I hear it. I’m catching up with your videos. Bless you from Texas.
A tip that I learned about direct sowing carrots or any tiny seeds is to add the seeds to some sand, then broadcast. You will see where they are landing and how thick. You won't have to thin as much.
That's a great idea. I thicken water with cornstarch, the next day I add my carrot seeds, then pipe them into their rows. It works for me with little to no thinning🥀
Awesome, Grace!!!! You are such an awesome helper for your mom.
When a plant dies in the weed fabric, I plant some flower or herb seeds in that hole. It helps with the pollination and pests. Your an inspiration. Keep up the good work. I also plant (selective weeds) In the weed fabric. Ex. In your tomato holes I also plant basil marigolds or allysum seeds. Once the plant gets big your going to get weeds in the hole. If you plant your selective weeds it will keep your ground covered with stuff you want.
Love this! I often do the same with planting herbs and flowers throughout my garden!
I was unable to comment on your latest video of your visit to the farm to see the calf…. I’m sure I’m not alone but I was crying with you … I felt your pain, I’m so sorry for your loss but embrace what you have now and enjoy the life you are creating with your gorgeous children xxx
I love that your children help each other so much especially while you go out to the garden and teach one of your son's about what to do and how to do it. It was so exciting that everyone surprised you the other day with extending your garden and a NEW GREEN HOUSE!!!! Bri you know that God is SMILING at you in many many ways. Just keep that smile going and looking UP. Big hugs to you ALL. Thank you for a GREAT video.
Your thoughtful mothering is a huge gift to the world.
That's what I call parental sensitivity. You didn't blame but you taught the lesson obliquely, then followed up with a nonjudgemental reinforcement. That's a special skill. I didn't always have it when my own kids were small. Fortunately, I sometimes did. I think I'd be a better parent now and that learning experience is probably why my grandmother was a delight for me but was harder on her own girls. Mothering is a skill that needs experience to master, like anything else.
“Let’s just step back and just look at the garden.” Love it!
The depth of peace and joy us kindred garden souls experience is beyond description.
The troubles of life literally melt away when I am gazing at my garden.
More inspiration than ever! A child so lovingly and gently corrected…darling babies having breakfast. A beautiful young lady being celebrated for her diligence and hard work, and a lovely garden plan that will enrich everybody….some who don’t even know it yet!!😉 you are so like my daughter Pam. She also homeschooled her children and oh what wonderful times they had! Both are college educated, wonderful young men. When we would go to the homeschooling group gatherings, it was pure joy to see such a group of children so kind to each other and well mannered. If ours were little today, they SURE wouldn’t be in public school!! I applaud all of you moms and dads that take this route.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖🤗👍👍
Congratulations Grace!!! Bri I just love your type of parenting! Your kids are great! Im proud of you and the way your rising from a very tuff year.I’m sure all days are not sunshines and rainbows but your working on making this new life good for your kids and yourself!
Hi.... Bri nice to see you and your children to, thank you for showing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
Also, I love how you turned the gardening oops into a learning experience for all, Even US!!
Good for Grace! How exciting! It's lovely to see you sit with your children at breakfast and sing to the Lord. You are doing wonderful, Bri. Don't doubt yourself.
I remember Brighton being your little gardener at the farm. What you are teaching him is better then any book knowledge He will be able to feed his own family one day. Your garden looks amazing Bri, praying you have an awesome first harvest. Love watching your children, they are all a delight. Grace is such a gently beautiful soul but then all your children are. Hugs.
Such a good momma!! I worry when the world breaks his/her heart!! But be strong and courageous in the Lord. I always teach mine at the appropriate age, that at home we make mistakes and do not condemn. In the world it can be different. I preach Psalms 23 to my kids. "He prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemy." and to "Be patient and wait on the Lord!" I have used these scriptures so many times when feeling humiliated or misunderstood. God always reveals my intentions. I just love, love, love, and God handles the rest..
I feel your excitement…I know you sleep well at night…oh, I remember when I had your energy!
That's awesome that you turned the water incident into a learning lesson for all the kids.
And for me! I really am not careful about watering, so I appreciate the lesson!
@@wendycape7283 it was a lesson for me as well
You are an inspiration too many. Your calm demeaner, calm voice and joyful smile is contagious. The way you dealt with the watering issue was to be commended. It taught a valuable lesson not only to your children but also to me! I can not wait to see the garden in a few months.
Bri, each time you post a new video it just fills me with so much hope. You seem to come more alive with each video. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and hopeful journey with us. I can really see God showing up everywhere around you. I hope you and the kids have a blessed day.
Brilliant idea taping the bubble container to the railing!!!!😮😮😮
Right! I’ve blown bubbles with dozens of toddlers over the years and never thought of this. Brilliant!
I am so impressed by your knowledge Bri! I am also so impressed by the gentleness you have with your children❤️ I personally am working so hard to improve that with my own kids and it really helps me hear how you talk with them when your busy trying to get things done❤️ thank you for being a great example and allowing us to learn from you!
Love how you are teaching the kids how to garden. Excellent!
You are a teacher. Whether in schoolroom or the garden, you turn every opportunity into a learning experience. ❤
I know that feeling of accomplishment and enjoying the beauty. I hope you sleep well each night. I love how much the kids have learned!
Your joy in your child’s rainbow wonder is very special. Hugs.
I'm so happy you decided to get back on you tube. I'm always happy to see your post. Good job Grace. Thank you again .
It is lovely to hear you all singing hymns together (and the babies enjoying it). Grace has grown so much over the years. I also have an 8th grader who is finishing up school soon. Then my two oldest will both be in high school. It is craziness, but wonderful.
Sidewalk chalk is so much fun for all time.
It is good that you didn't embarrass your child about the plant issue when they were doing their best to help, and instead used it as a way to learn and grow for the future. We all need to learn and improve.
The garden is growing so much already!!!
Also - you're doing a great job editing your videos. You're a quick learner!
Also - I don't know if this would work, but maybe those tiny clips that are used in sewing could do a good job holding your netting onto your garden hoops. They're like chip clips, but they're REALLY small (used instead of straight pins while sewing), and you buy them in bags of about 20.
Congratulations Grace!!!🌷🌼🌻🏵
He's an adorable child! I loved teaching children to garden at a children's center.
First off Congrat Grace on your home school awesome job. Sec Bri I love how your son helped you in the garden and how he payed such great attention to you. Joy awesome job on fixing lunch for everyone . Bri your children are growing up to be such a Blessing to watch.
Brighton is your gardening buddy. He is developing A passion for it thanks to you. Sorry if I misspelled his name. Love you and your kiddos. Coleen from Nebraska.
He really is my kid that loves the garden!
You are doing an amazing job, Bri.
Youre a great mom, those kiddos are so blessed
Thank you for sharing your information about cutting off sick leaves. After you told us I went to my roses and cut off the leaves that had rust spots and threw them in the trash.
Hi Bri, I have just started watching your channel and your positivity throughout your struggles and your sweet nature really shines through, you're an inspiration to us Christian mothers and I know you will be rewarded when you get to heaven one day because you pushed through the fire and didn't give up on The Lord. God bless your family.
it is great to see GRACE. i miss seeing her
Keep up the great work to an awesome mother!
Bri, The mother you are is beautiful! Such a faithful teacher to your children you are. You put God Jehovah first in all things, and it shows in how you strengthen your own children in your everyday faithful living.
In all things you do, you do it with prayer and guidance. So proud God must be when he sees how you overcome such obstacles, you wholeheartedly surrendered, and now healing is truly obvious. Faith is a beautiful thing, this you are not short of!
Have a beautiful rest of your week…you and the kids!
Bri, Praying your week is blessed and pleasant! I love how you teach your children about gardening. It’s also cool how your oldest daughters learn about cooking. Singing hymns at meal time is very precious. You inspire me in my daily walk with God. God bless you Bri! ❤
Yay!! A lovely day for you, caused by your great attitude!
Grace is such a bright and beautiful girl! Such a bright future ahead!! Bri you're a star mentor fir your kids!! Lovely video!! 💕🙏💕
Great job Grace! Sorry to hear about your plants. I'm sure it was one of those moments where Bri needed to step aside and take a deep long breath. You handled the situation very well. I'm glad you did not lose more plants than you did.🤗💛
Looks like fun day in store for you all
Dear Bree--you wonderfully sweet lady… I’m so happy for you that your garden is coming along. I will pray that you get your plants, flowers, fence all put in. Blessings Helena Montana. We might be getting snow ⛄️ today. 😢

I am so proud of you. I have to admit that I thought of you and the children last year and was worried. You have emerged stronger and more beautiful than ever. You are a wonderful example for your children.
Love it. I love the fact that you know how to enjoy what you have and not to worry about what you don't have! ❤❤❤ Keep it that way, friend!
You are such a great mom, so sensitive to your children’s feelings. Congrats Grace! I’m am totally amazed you have been able to do as much as you have on your property, dealing with HOA is most cases is a battle.
I love the ending of your video. From one Momma to another. I love those little pockets of time.
He is such a great helper 💙. All of your kids are great!😊
Congratulations Grace!
And…What a beautiful way to teach when what we call here “accidents happen” about the watered garden. Rather than scolding. Good job Mama!
I love all your future garden plans. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Beautiful, so beautiful! Your children are so very nice and well behaved. I love how they have interest in the garden. Truly a blessing from above! It was so good to meet you last weekend. Blessings on you!

Beautiful singing, congrats Grace. The kids are great. Prayers
Burlap sacks are another great option for keeping the soil moist while you're carrots are germinating.
Great tip!
@@Brifromscratch I picked up a bunch of long narrow strips of burlap at a thrift store a couple years ago. And they've been really helpful for germinating rows my of carrots and parsnips, too.
Great tip! I’m determined to master carrots this year!
Such a nice surprise to see you at the Mom’s forum at the Farm Where You Live event on Saturday! That made my weekend.
Hope you enjoyed it!
It breaks my hart to see you alone your such a beautiful person.
Did you ever try to take the seeds off a strawberry and dry them on a paper towel and then plant them. I was so surprised I could do that. It would be a nice project for your kids to try. Love watching you. God Bless
Hi Bri. Haven't been following you for quite a while so was shocked to see what you have been through this last year. Full credit for you for coming out the other end a much stronger person. Do keep giving updates 💞
Nice you have a sister to help with the plans you look so content 🙏
Everything is looking absolutely stunning❤ what a sweet blessing getting your beautiful garden in, it's gorgeous😊
My little Shih tzu Maltese mix got spayed two weeks ago and she acted completely normal, full of energy, the next day when the meds wore off lol We couldn't catch her to stop her from jumping up and down from furniture. We closed off the stairs so she could do down at least lol
Bri, you're the best! The way the sun filters through your hat makes you look like you have sparkly freckles!
I love how you made time for self-care.❤
What a beautiful way to address the watering issue with children, well done to you. Those gorgeous toddlers are growing so quickly.
Can you use the issue of having young children out in the garden for a fence?
Bri, You should run for the HOA! Get things done for the neighborhood!!
Hi Bri,that sounds like one of My Mums meetings.
Bringing to light observations She has made without shaming in front of others, very cool ❤.
JO JO IN VT 💞
What I do to move plants is use a soup spoon or serving spoon to pull both plants out, then separate and then plant where need to plant.
Pray for you and your family God bless you
❤grace you have grown into such a beautiful young girl,I have watched from the very beginning n watching the kids has been such a joy💖🙏
I've been growing veggies for over 30 years. Your plants look amazing! I think in another week you won't even notice the small setback. The next battle will be cabbage butterflies!
