My baby girl(14 months now) would constantly spit up on my breastmilk. No matter how bland my diet was, she would just spit up. We tried raw milk and still, spit up. Definitely diary sensative. 9 months old, our neighbor brought over goats milk and we started giving her that and no more spitting up. By 10 months old she just didn't want to nurse anymore and just wanted the goats milk. I was sad, because i normally breastfeed for 2 years, but decided it was best for her tummy to just give her the goats milk. She still loves it, wants it all the time.

Freeze dry your eggs then grind to powder. Your garlic, your herbs. Your fruit like berries, apples, tomatoes, your soup, your ice cream sandwiches, your homemade broth then powder and place in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. Freeze your broth in cubes first makes it so so easy. Your cooked meat. Your cooked beef stew. Your onions!!!!

I love foxgloves, but since they are extremely poisonous .
I’ve been too scared to plant any in my garden😢

Guarding is so good for your soul and I love that you were teaching your children, Bri, To enjoy the garden life… The reading process the cultivating process, the “hardening” of the plant BEFORE actual planting (I am willing to bet that 40 to 50% of the people we’re not even aware that that was important to do and if they stick their plants right in the ground upon purchase), so I hope they understood the importance of acclimating the plants to sunshine.
I had a dehydrator when my children were young and it was a wonderful way to preserve healthy food as well as provide wonderful snacks however, one day someone that they really like came into our home and made fun of the hydrated food and they would no longer eat any of it. You are doing SO MANY THINGS RIGHT, BRI.. letting the children have hands-on and so many of the processes from gardening& the Value of growing your own food, to hydrating, & teamwork for housework and Especially dining together, as well as teaching them Your Faith❣️❣️
Be proud of yourself because we are proud of you, Bri♥️❣️
By the way your oldest daughter is a big help to you. I was in the position of caring for six younger children in my family and hoping to cook the meals and housework at Cetera so that my parents were able to farm and do our jobs to help pay the farm off and I learned a lot which prepared me for the role of housewife in motherhood and just taking pride and caring for my home and the joy of gardening. Thank you who is the oldest who is willing to be a support to your Mom~ She is an amazing Young Lady♥️♥️❣️❣️

I accidentally discovered a deer repellent last year. I normally make my own fertilizer for my veg garden, and the day I went to pick up the ingredients there was no canola meal ( nitrogen source) so instead I used blood meal as it is 4 times stronger than canola. I never saw a deer in my yard until August, they never touched the flowers or any veg. Potatoes really like blood meal you could top dress with it.

@@Brifromscratch It looks like either cane or bamboo. In either case, the best way to get rid of it, is to let all of the energy go to the leaves from the roots, and then cut it down as far as you can. Doing this multiple times, will eventually deplete the energy from the roots.

Your plant you thought was cane is yellow bamboo. It’s handy for building but it definitely can take over. Love your beautiful gardens. So enjoy watching you get so excited and just being happy and enjoying yourself. Your joy is infectious. Stay your amazing self! God bless you all. ~Lisa
