I moved from Philly to Vegas and then to Idaho. Now I’m thinking about going back to Vegas. Not feeling Idaho but idk where I wanna be to honest right now but I’m about to train in mma and Vegas is the spot for training.
Im from new orleans, so all this sounds very familiar. Especially what you said about the Strip. Las Vegas is basically a tourist town with a tourist economy, right?
The central portion if the city is the tourist economy, but there are now large technology co.oanies moving there and companies establishing call centers due to the low cost of overhead for building and offices. There is also a large Airforce base on the east side, as well as the area 51 base out side the city. So it's mixed well now.
i'm going to vegas next week to look at houses! i'm looking at 1. Southwest (near Rainbow and Robindale) 2. North part of Rhodes Ranch and 3. Sovana (or a little North). What do you feel about these neighborhoods?
All perfectly good spots, the only factor some people may look at is the schools of you have kids , Rhodes ranch will have the best. The Souuthwest is a great area too, since lots of businesses along rainbow and access to 215. Only issue with Sovana is you will notice alot of areas not developed so it's just big open area dirt lots, however once they finish completing the new Durango casino that may spark alot of development and construction in the future. Best of luck to you!
The lifestyle is completely different in Las Vegas, San Diego is all about outdoor great weather, and differnt neighborhoods having events. In Las vegas, if you get a cheap apartment you will hate it because you will spend a majority of time in the summer inside. The schools are ranked very poorly if you have kids, but the value of living in a Big city with 2 million people the cost of living in Vegas is half the cost of San diego.
I didn't know about that park...I'll have to check it out. I moved here from L.A. for the same reasons...just minus the kids...I love California but I want to own a home or two
It's isn't a cake walk, it's going to come with some adapting and changes.. but I hope things work out well for you. We are still focused on a home and great school area.
@@TheNaveFam Been here 3 months now, I WFH and already had friends out here so it hasn't been so bad....just some adjustment to the shitty driving and lack of really great Mom and Pop restaurants...lol
@@sneakn actually there are amazing mom and pop restaurants across the west side. It's just different finding them here since so many big chains line up ever major intersection.. buy places like Milpa, pops, bajamar, sushi Koma, trust me in a month or two you will start finding the local spots .. especially in Arts district
Already been here 3/4 of my life.. there is nothing that Bakersfield has that will shock me. Our chapters in other cities were great, but it's time to have family in our lives again. ❤️ I appreciate you watching! I'm hoping you keep following along ! You can follow on Instagram too enave_99
Thank you for the video

Very expensive to live in San Diego, can't afford $2000 for studio.
Should I move to Las Vegas?
