That last step where it says authorization complete and you check the boxes before you click link this account button , one of my boxes that doesn’t show on your screen on your video but is showing on my screen says “I understand that all the affiliate permissions of this TikTok account will be revoked after I link it as my official account and the account holder will no longer have access to affiliate features”, so if I’m wanting to sell as an affiliate should I not proceed??!!!

That's how i found this video... But this video is couple of months old already, so I would not exclude that they have changed the set up again and the video is not relevant any longer...
I have done this, still showing I need 5,000 followers. However, it is now saying they have "stalled" the process, till the onboarding of my shop is setup. Hopefully that is just the verification portion. WIll wait and see. Thanks for the detailed guide, worth a shot.

Hello! Please help - this was a great video, however - when I reached the portion after the QR Code ; for you it said "This tiktok has not completed the verification process." But that's not what mine says.. Mine says "The e-commerce feature is currently unavailable for this account as it doesn't meet the Community Guidelines and TikTok Shop Creator E-commerce Permissions Eligibility Guidelines." This is a brand new account made solely for this reason. What did I do wrong? OR did tiktok just recently crack down on this workaround method?
The work around doesn’t work anymore? I did it and when I’m trying to add a product it gives me and error saying I cannot add any products in my region 😢
A lot of people are having issues with the loophole. I already had the marketplace showcase with products selected but when I tried to create a video for it, it gave me the same error. This started happening since TT changed the requirement from 5k to 1k mid May and then decided to change it back to 5k on the first week of June.
Great video. Does this still works if under 5000k followers? I signed up and I now have the shop icon on my TikTok Account, but it’s saying my page not ready and showing unchecked under the 5k requirement.

@anniemedicalmassage I did!. They finally approved it and then it automatically relinked . Then I was able to file the rest to set things up. It just took about 12 hours for mine to go through.
@@omgitsDIMPY Yes. It took a while for mine to get approved. Less than 24 hours but my as fast as I've seen others on videos. I didn't need 5k subs either.

were you able to figure this out? Im having the same issue. This method gets around the follower requirement but it signs you up as a seller account (business) and not a creator account (affiliate) so i dont know if this method is even relevant now

Update: so my tiktok shop was approved but this method doesn't let u join the affiliate program. I got all the way to where I wanted to upload a video and link a product and it is saying i don't have access. I contacted support and they said the tiktok shop is separate from the affiliate account and I was told I still need 5k follows. This was just a big waste of time, and got my hopes up for nothing. It only lets u use a drivers license or passport to sign up for the shop 🤦🏻♀️, SO stupid.

Thank GOD! I knew there was someone who knew how to get around that asinine TikTok verification. I tried to open an affiliate account alongside my personal account and they wanted a yacht, 5 fingers, my left foot and the blood of a virgin. RIDICULOUS! Like it wasn't enough showing them a VALID driver's license just to do affiliate marketing. They can suck my big toe now!!!! I must have done something wrong. I followed everything step by step, got my account, found my first product, made the video, got ready to post it and ... can't link it to the product. It will only let me connect to my own products and I don't have any. Update: so my tiktok shop was approved but this method doesn't let u join the affiliate program. I got all the way to where I wanted to upload a video and link a product and it is saying i don't have access. I contacted support and they said the tiktok shop is separate from the affiliate account and I was told I still need 5k follows.
This was just a big waste of time, and got my hopes up for nothing.
It only lets u use a drivers license or passport to sign up for the shop 🤦🏻♀️, SO stupid.
I did everything you said, and when I go to the Marketplace it says: “You’re logged in as a seller. Only creators who are eligible for commission can view the product marketplace.”
Any advice?

now that is not the case, they changed the rules and even if you have a new shop but you cannot join the affiliate program

It doesn’t give me the “creator tools “ option. But it says I’m linked. 😮How do I add products to the shop?
I am on the same boat as you are. If I figure it out I will post it here however so far I am having very hard time to find anthing related. Matter fact, you are the first comments I see that having same exact problem of mine.

@@ogbodojennifer-b6t sorry to hear that, I got my shop opened yesterday. I had the error that said stalled, I redid what he said in the video and it worked. Took 15hrs.

Thank GOD! I knew there was someone who knew how to get around that asinine TikTok verification. I tried to open an affiliate account alongside my personal account and they wanted a yacht, 5 fingers, my left foot and the blood of a virgin. RIDICULOUS! Like it wasn't enough showing them a VALID driver's license just to do affiliate marketing. They can suck my big toe now!!!! Thank you SO SO SO SO SO MUCH for showing me how to get around the red tape.

What to do if i'm not a resident of the top tier countries allowed by tiktok to join the tiktok shop?! is there an idea to get around that? I've no USA or top tier ID
I must have done something wrong. I followed everything step by step, got my account, found my first product, made the video, got ready to post it and ... can't link it to the product. It will only let me connect to my own products and I don't have any. And if I search the product, it's not like it gives me the info on how much commission I could make, etc, because my account is, I guess, not an an affiliate account. So how do I fix this? Or do I just have to get the 5k followers? HELP!
When I tried to link the account I had to click this acknowledgement:
I understand that all the Affiliate permissions of this TikTok account will be revoked after I link it as my official account and the account holder will no longer have access to Affiliate features.

How do you log into the account you just created when it's still being verified? When I try to log into it, I get a message that says this account doesn't exist.
Hi, I followed your step, but it's not working. It's telling me I'm signed in as seller and only creators have access to the market place. Do I news to unlink my seller account from my personal account, then build my personal followers to 5000. Then relink the account again
