I have just purchased the upgraded ga2110su in the green/black, the upgrade includes a non reflective mineral crystal glass and a stainless steel strap buckle, I have to say the quality and aesthetic for this model at 109€ make it superb value for an entry level g shock.
> non reflective mineral crystal glass and a stainless steel These are not really upgrades, as every ga2100 gets an antireflective mineral crystal, and the metal buckle is present on the triple black and the black with white indexes model.
3:48 the crystal is mineral glass, there's a filter on the underside, and the reflections are much more contained than on timepieces with "bare" glass or sapphire. Also, the hardness is a bit above average, withstanding contact with sand and brushes against walls (where other pieces would've scratched)
does this watch has button operation sound beeps ? Does the physical hands move out of the way when you are adjusting something in the LCD display. Thank you
Mine is impossible to read the digital display. Some colors are better. It’s fussy to adjust too. I wish they’d just put a legible date window and ditch the other additional functions.
I've had this watch in the black/ black for 6 months which I do really like but the original strap isn't comfortable for my 7 1/2 inch. The screws on the case back are not counter sunk and because the strap from the lugs are angled dig in. I have customised it with strap adapter a nato strap.
I really like this watch - but there are some significant downsides: 1) this may be due to my aging eyes, but digital display is really difficult to read. 2) the lume is pretty pathetic & most (maybe all) of the models lack lume on anything other than the hands- no lume on indices- yes, there’s a light, but that means you need 2 hands to read in the dark, & the light only lasts for 3 seconds maximum (default is 1.5 seconds) - now, I’ve still bought several- 3 of them modded to the full Casioak metal treatment as well as others kept as is. I’ve bought replacement lumed indices for 3 of them, and this helps tremendously. All in all though, these typically suffer in comparison to the DW5610 and other “Square” models that include a) Tough Solar (some 2100s can now be had with Solar) b) Multiband 6 - some 2100’s have Bluetooth, but I prefer MB6 c) the auto-on light feature with the flick of your wrist. Nice review- thank you for putting together.
Had the blue one and gave it to my daughter. Didn’t like the strap and found it hard to read the small digital screen. Functions are good, but to be honest, G Shock make much better watches than the Casio Oak. Wouldn’t get another one!
@@wtwreviews fyi, discoloration of light coloured gshocks is a known issue and is not particular to this model. casio openly states this in the manuals. i understand this is a problem for some, however, this is not a dress watch and is meant to be worn (and abused, since this is a gshock). i'd rather think of it as patina.
I've had my blue one for nearly 2 years and there is no discoloration to the bezel; but never been swimming with it. Really a great value.
It’s a cracker of a watch! Thanks for watching the video
Does your resin bazel scratching?
The crystal it’s not plastic, it’s mineral glass.
I knew I’d made a mistake somewhere, thanks for the correction!
