    Good review - but no one (and I've watched a 1/2 dozen) seems to mention the cooled and heated cup holders.

      This model wasn’t equipped with them.

    Has the "Apple Pay" bug when placed in the wireless charger... They all do. iPhone thinks the car is a retail point of sale device.

  • @RaphaelNation

    It looks more and more like a minivan each year. That’s sucks. I used to like the X5 when it was a real SAV with truck ride height and body on frame construction.

      The stand-off feature of the X5 (as opposed to the Mercedes ML) is that the X5 has NEVER had a body on frame construction.

    They really need to improve long term reliability... It just keeps getting worse with each generation. Why would anyone want to spend $120k of their hard earned money on a pos that will leave you stranded on the road within 5 years. BMW's have turned into lease specials and thats it... which is not a good thing.

    • @ocbmwguy67
      @ocbmwguy67 5 лет назад +1

      Huh? I'm on my THIRD X5 (2016) and I've had ZERO, ZIP problems. This is by far the most reliable X5 and having owned 8 BMWs it is the highest quality of the lot

    • @SaraiGarage
      @SaraiGarage 5 лет назад

      Tech Guy a 2016 is still a baby. Once these cars get to about 60-80k they fall apart. I’m not just talking out my ass, my family has owned BMW’s for 12 years now just cause my dad likes them. He buys them like 3-4 years used and they’re always breaking down. We service them at dealers for everything and they still leave us stranded. It’s just not acceptable for a car of such a high price tag. It’s a joke dude
      I will never in my lifetime buy a BMW. Ours, and all the BMW’s my friends have ever owned have been nothing but pretty lawn ornaments

    Simply too big and only for use in Florida USA on the school run. In Europe it is a little ridiculous and...why is the styling so dull, unimaginative and that grille is hideous!

    • @patrickamponsah679
      @patrickamponsah679 5 лет назад +1

      I totally disagree with you. This a nice looking car from every angle. How do you want them to make it look exciting.

    • @HQBProductions
      @HQBProductions 5 лет назад +1

      If you like it then buy it! For me this is simply another revamp of the car that we saw in 2000 with identical themes and details. BMW seems determined with their belief that constantly enlarging the BMW radiator grille then squashing, stretching and rethinking it will make us want the car more. In fact the whole point of keeping an original design is to keep it original! Otherwise, it lacks any new inspiration, still looks too heavy and slab sided plus the front is too upright. It is an aggressive, confident and arrogant car which description fits most who drive them. It is not on my shopping list though.

      @@HQBProductions show me a luxury that has totally redesigned a vehicle 🤣🤣🤣

    • @HQBProductions
      @HQBProductions 5 лет назад

      draie way I’m not sure what you mean? If you are saying that no manufacturer ever has completely redesigned a model of car when introducing a new version then you only have to go back twenty or more years. It was normal to bring a totally different looking car...Jaguar MK IX to MK 10, various Vauxhall, Opel, Ford, Mercedes etc...it is in the last 25 years that design has given way to practicality or simply development cost containment. Think of this...if you go out to buy a shirt, do you make sure it looks and feels exactly the same as your old ones year after year?? I very much doubt it!

    Ugly interior. Console looks like a "robot face". Cheap looking. Not befitting a SUV of it's class and price.
    Qi charging. Bad idea in a vehicle. What's to stop the phone from sliding out of position even in light driving. Making a turn a little too fast. :) Rather just plug in the phone to a SUB port when driving.
