What’s up Rawrkee,I’m Based out of Southern California and just purchased my fd1 clip from the importer Jdm of California. I’m a little thrown off by the xenon portion and wiring of those headlights from my stock bulb sockets on my fa5. Any way I can get tips on doing the conversion wiring? Please and thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻
If I recall correctly, each headlight has two plugs that are different but they have the same wire colors on the fa5, just splice those wires into your harness. If you don’t want to spice into your harness, I believe there’s a guy who makes a plug and play kit. www.ebay.com/itm/335007473466
I think I spent $150 on the radiator support and then I bought used headlights for like $500 🫣 The civic still isn't fully repaired as far as cosmetics go but I saved a lot of money by doing it myself but it also cost me to buy a welding machine, welding helment, paint and other random stuff. If I took it to a shop, it probably would've cost $800+ to get the radiator support welded
@@burritodorito3176 The Titanium Easy-Flux 125 is about $150 from Harbor Freight and if you're patient enough to wait, they'll typically have coupons for it to save you some money. I got a $50 helment on Amazon, some flux welding wire, a welding jacket and gloves, and thats about all you need. It also takes a lot time removing the spot welds too
Glad to see you back workin on your car. Awesome job with the progress bro.
