Great you three. Barry Gibb is definitely still singing. His Gréenfields album from 2021 reached number 1 in the UK and Australia. You just must listen to Too Much Heaven, perfect harmonies
The last Gibb. I miss his duets with the likes of Barbra Streisand. And yes the Gibbs all including Andy were perfect with harmony. Kinda like The Righteous Brothers.
Bee Gees had a younger brother his name is Andy. Died in the 80z. He was in love with the Actress Victoria Principal. Who acted in Dallas. With Larry Hangman of I Dream of Jennie.
This is the greatest group ever, they are so talented, they are singers, song writers and musicals. They truly sing so many varieties of music. Their catalog of songs are over 1000s. I love the Bee Gees!!!! You guys are great reactors....Would love to hear more Bee Gees.... subscribed
Yes Great Reaction Video, and you are all very Astute! They were actually 4 brothers , the youngest was a solo act( with his own band ) but did do a few appearances with his older brothers, he died of suicide at the age of 30. His voice was similar to Barry’s! I have seen interviews of Barry as his brothers died and he will be hurting til the day he dies! Brings a tear to my eye, I saw them live 3 or 4 times and they were unbelievable live! They wrote so many hits for other stars of the time! Barry has done at least one show with Brother Robyn’s daughter singing with him/ very emotional !
On March 10, 1988, Andy Gibb went to the hospital after reporting having chest pains, where he later died. The doctors ruled that myocarditis, a weakened heart condition, was the cause of death, most likely caused by prolonged cocaine use.
The Gibbs (and especially Barry) are pretty much musical geniuses, able to reinvent themselves for different decades, custom write for others or movies. I think you would really enjoy TOO MUCH HEAVEN from 1978/9, TO LOVE SOMEBODY from 1967 (probably their most covered song), and YOU WIN AGAIN from 1987 (they made the stomp track stomping on things they found laying around in Maurice’s garage). Barry put out a #2 solo album called IN THE NOW in 2016, and in 2021, a #1 album of some of their classics called Greenfields, which was produced in Nashville and mostly duets with Country artists, Please do keep the Bee Gees reactions coming!
I think it was Barry’s Mythology tour that included Samantha. There was no Greenfields tour because of Covid, and I don’t think Samantha was involved in the Greenfields album. Barry’s oldest son, Stephen, started playing with Barry’s band at least as far back as the Vegas One Night Only, was definitely on the Mythology tour, and he and Ashley (2nd oldest of Barry’s 5 children) both worked with Barry on songwriting for the 2016 album In The Now. Samantha spearheaded getting the Gibb cousins together under the name Gibb Collective for an album of covers of the fathers’ songs, but with updated sounds. Many of the next generation of Gibbs are musically talented.
I love this song, bring me back the old days when my dad used to put a lot of the song and another's from 70' and 80' even tho I'm still in my twenties lol, he's passed away a couple years ago but even tho hearing this song bring me so much happiness I just wanted go back and feel what I felt when I was a kid, so this particularly song always will have a special place in my heart.
please note only Barry Gibb is still here... this late 70s song was a Massive HIT way before all you were born ... RIP to his two other talented Brothers (Maurice and Robin) from the great band BeeGees
The youngest Bee Gee was Andy Gibb. Their little brother who was a late 70's Heartthrob he had several solo hits. Sadly Andy was the first to pass away.
Bee Gees are legends and incomparable. They were featured in the Book.of Guiness as the most successful songwriters of all times. Recently Sir Barry Gibb was knighted by Prince Charles for their contributions to the.music. The twins are Robin and Mayrice Gibb. Nobody can surpass them in terms of switching tones and tunes and all are handsome. React also to their Too Much Heaven.
Love your format and your reaction/analysis. I would love you to dive deeper into Bee Gees, there is so much to discover. I know a few reactors that fall in love with Bee Gees and end up doing weekend marathon to get through all the amazing material.
It doesnt get so boring when you listen to the lyrics!! Please react to more Bee Gees songs like Love So Right, Love You Inside Out, Fanny Be Tender, Alone, Fallen Angel, I 11:30 Cant See Nobody. ... I enjoyed your reaction!!❤❤❤
Nice reaction 👍🏻 You'll must listen to these Bee Gees songs: - Too much heaven - Night fever - Nights on Broadway - Love you inside and out - Jive talkin' - You should be dancing - Stayin' alive - I started a joke - For whom the bells toll - Massachusetts - Tragedy Also songs by their youngest brother Andy Gibb: - Shadow dancing - Love is thicker than water
I've loved the Bee gees since I was a kid. This was a good song but my two biggest favs are "Stay'n alive" and "You should be dancing". "You should be dancing" will actually get you dancing!
"Words," "Jive Talking," "Massachusetts." They wrote all their songs, over 1,000 all up, many hits for others as well. After you finish with this lengthy rabbit hole, the Rightous brothers, Bobby Hatfield, solo on "Unchained Melody," from '65 and both guys singing, "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" from Australia, John Farnham, "You're the Voice." Jimmy Barnes, "Saturday Night." With the band Cold Chisel.
Hi, think this was one of the best reaction videos that I've seen for a Bee Gees song and really enjoyed it. Please have a look at 'Tragedy'. Thanks and cheers from Australia 🇦🇺.
Sorry they were British 🇬🇧. Never gave up their British citizenships. Only lived in Australia for 9 years. Barry was 12 when he moved there and the twins were nearly 9. That's why they never lost their north English accents.
58th..this was my HS Music...class of 79 BeeGees are One of a Kind..and there's NO Other band like them......sadly only Barry is still alive...and he's the oldest ..
Barry has a new album out 2021 it’s titled Greenfields a country version of some of their songs! It is amazing! Don’t under estimate “Old” artists! The Bee Gees wrote all their own songs & lyrics. Also wrote many songs for other artists.
Thank you for introducing Bee Gees music to Chinese audience, especially the younger generation. They have far too many beautiful songs for every mood and feel. Many who commented here have suggested reacting to Too Much Heaven by them too, but there is really a long list such as Staying Alive, Massachusetts, I started a joke, you win again, etc, and songs they wrote for other artistes such as Barbra Streisand (woman in love, guilty), dion Warwick (heartbreaker), samantha sang (emotions), Diana Ross (chain reaction), Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton (islands in the dreams)…..
They grew up in Australia, there were four brothers, Andy the youngest has also passed away. He had a couple of hits including Shadow Dancing and I Just Want to be Your Everything.
I'm from the U.S. and just subscribed to your channel. Watched you guys reaction to the Bee Gees (How Deep is your Love). They have written two to three hundred songs for other great artist's during their career. I request you watch their official video of (TOO MUCH HEAVEN and STAYIN ALIVE). The songs along does not do them justice. I know hundreds of songs and groups from the 60's thru the 80's that I believe your audience would truly love that are truly (DOPE) meaning great songs. There were great talented groups of the past that everyone should be introduced to during their musical journey. I would like to pass on, some of my selections to you guys periodically if allowable. I would also like to commend you guys on your due diligence on artist and groups prior to posting songs or videos. Most host of RUclips channels are dumbfounded when posting songs and videos and are left pleading to their subscribers to inform them when they have questions that most times is easily answered by googling. Thanks for your reactions. Peace Out
The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb were ALL brothers and of the few, if only, who embraced funk, soul and R&B and we're successful for it. So, they prove no matter a person's skin color, it comes from within one's soul. You've got to appreciate their mark on the World their music left. No matter the skin color of listeners of their music, their music goes past color. Exhibit A.
To hear the best of their harmonies listen to Too Much Heaven, girls it will melt your hearts you may even get goosebumps. Fanny be Tender and For Whom the Bells Toll are two great mellow songs from them. The name BeeGees stands for the brothers Gibb. They were fantastic songwriters who not only wrote their own music but for many other well-known singers also.
You need to watch Staying Alive video as well as the movie Saturday Night Fever. BeeGees did the music for the whole movie. Launched "Disco Fever" here in the US for a few years.
Speaking of Summer Breeze, that's the title to another great song by Seals and Crofts from this same era. Its another iconic feel good song from the 70s. It literally feels like a summer breeze.
Great insight and interaction.. I'm subscribing. BTW, there were 4 brothers, the 4th was the baby brother(Andy) who also became a singing star,, but succumbed to drug addiction..
so amazing your reaction 👍, tons of goosebumps, the Brother Gibb - fifth best selling artist of all time, the only group who had No.1 hits in four decades, Saturday Night Fever best selling soundtrack of all times and second best selling record of all time after Michael Jackson Thriller with 63 million copies worldwide since today, 28 weeks No.1 spot in the US and 1978 - 1979 No. 1 from December 1977 until May 1978 with six consecutive No.1 hits - Sir Barry Gibb and his brothers not dominate the worldwide charts, there were the charts. 🕺🕺You must have to try Stayin Alive, Night Fever, You Should Be Dancing, More than a Woman and You Should Be Dancing - stellar all time classic tunes ✨
They sang and wrote their own music. In fact for a few decades, anyone who wanted to have a hit song, will go to them. Between the 3 of them there are literally hundreds of songs written, may be even thousand. Also there used to be a younger brother, Andy, who passed away first.
Guys you should react to 'Too Much Heaven' - also by the Bee Gees, the harmonies on that song is the best ever. You want the official music video version.
The movie Saturday Night Fever where the Bee Gees often were heard also made John Travolta a international star. In the 80's we loved drums.. In The Air Tonight is what I am talking about. Look at Alex Van Halens drums , or Tommy Lee and his cool shows. But my first and favorite drummer was Keith Moon. Them sneaky English folks kinda liked showing us what Rock was suppose to be.
Awesome reaction you 3 👌...Would love to see yous react to "Too much Heaven" official video...yous will hear one of the Greatest falsetto voices ever from Barry 💯🔥💞❤
Do also listen to the following songs: - Adele - Rolling in the deep - Spandau Ballet - True - Toto - Africa - Toto - Hold the line - Hall and Oates - Out of touch - Hall and Oates - Sara smile - Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer - Tears for fears - Everybody wants to rule the world - Tears for fears - Shout - Thompson Twins - We are detectives - The Police - Roxanne - The Police - Every breath you take - The Police - Walking on the moon
Hi guys, they had a younger brother Andy who died ist, have you listened to stayin alive. The old ones were the best, back in the day even though I liked them, some people took the micky out of them. It wasn't cool to admit you liked bee gees & ABBA back in the day, great melodies, nice harmony, each had that hook, lyrics spot on what I call evergreens.
when the Bee Gees dominated the US charts between 1975/1979, in Europe the Swedish group ABBA dominated at the same time just as the Bee Gees is characterized by the vocal harmonies of the three brothers, ABBA stands out for the vocal harmonies of its two female singers, accompanied by their musician and composer husbands. I'd love you to react to Steve Perry's ,"Foolish Heart". Steve was the lead singer for the group "Journey". Foolish Heart is Steve going solo from Journey. Just Steve in a dark studio singing to a backing track. Thanks guys!
Who would have thought these young souls would be touched by the iconic bee gees go for it guys great reaction ❤️❤️❤️.
Excellent presentation folks . Very thoughtful and sincere.thank you.
I really like that you explaines several things to prepare the audience before playing the video 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great reaction Chris & The Sisters! Shalom to all of you!
Barry Gibb is 75 & still performing. He released his latest album, entitled Greenfields, in 2020.
When you hear one Bee Gee's song you will be wanting more..and what a great reaction to this beautiful song!
I love that y'all have a musical background, to break down the song.
Their lyrics are amazing. You are listening to what is considered one of the greatest love songs ever written!
The bee gees will take you to another life. A happy one
You listen to the music of a time, you get a feel for that time. This was the 70's, early 80's.
WOW you guys really know music
It amazes me when I watch reactions to this song that no one mentions the beautiful lyrics
You guys definitely should do "Too much Heaven" by the Bee Gees.
The introduction for bee gees was really nice
Great you three. Barry Gibb is definitely still singing. His Gréenfields album from 2021 reached number 1 in the UK and Australia. You just must listen to Too Much Heaven, perfect harmonies
Yep! Still going and creating!
The last Gibb. I miss his duets with the likes of Barbra Streisand.

The Bee Gees were going through their RNB phase in this era 70’s - “Too much heaven” is a must.
I've loved the Bee gees since I was a kid.
This was a good song but my two biggest favs are "Stay'n alive" and "You should be dancing".

They grew up in Australia, there were four brothers, Andy the youngest has also passed away. He had a couple of hits including Shadow Dancing and I Just Want to be Your Everything.
Veritas, you're correct with that info. Thanks for the clarification!
These guys invented the drum loop that has been used so extensively in pop music (first used in "Staying Alive)
I'm from the U.S. and just subscribed to your channel. Watched you guys reaction to the Bee Gees (How Deep is your Love). Their catalog is tremendous. Over 1000 songs. No kidding. You must, absolutely MUST, listen to Too Much Heaven. You will not be disappointed.
You should try "Home Free" singing "Man of Constant Sorrow".
You need to watch Staying Alive video as well as the movie Saturday Night Fever. BeeGees did the music for the whole movie. Launched "Disco Fever" here in the US for a few years.

You definitely need to listen to Too Much Heaven by the BeeGees.
Great harmonies and Barry is famous for his falsetto and "Too Much Heaven" really showcases that.
Really enjoyed this! Although born in UK, they grew up in Australia which may have made their music more accessible in Asia.
Spent 9 years in Australia before returning to the UK in their late teens.
Barry actually spent most of his childhood in the British Isles and the twins were nearly 9 when they left England for Australia in 1958.
Guys you should react to 'Too Much Heaven' - also by the Bee Gees, the harmonies on that song is the best ever. You want the official music video version.
The movie Saturday Night Fever where the Bee Gees often were heard also made John Travolta a international star.

"Too Much Heaven"...Gotta do that one!
Awesome reaction you 3 👌...Would love to see yous react to "Too much Heaven" official video...yous will hear one of the Greatest falsetto voices ever from Barry 💯🔥💞❤

Hi guys, they had a younger brother Andy who died ist, have you listened to stayin alive. The old ones were the best, back in the day even though I liked them, some people took the micky out of them. It wasn't cool to admit you liked bee gees & ABBA back in the day, great melodies, nice harmony, each had that hook, lyrics spot on what I call evergreens.
when the Bee Gees dominated the US charts between 1975/1979,
in Europe the Swedish group ABBA dominated at the same time
just as the Bee Gees is characterized by the vocal harmonies of the three brothers,
ABBA stands out for the vocal harmonies of its two female singers, accompanied by their musician and composer husbands.
ABBA recorded between 1972/1982 and has more than 20 worldwide hits
I would like to suggest that you do a reaction to his biggest hit: "Dancing Queen" (1976), his only #1 in the US
ABBA last year returned after almost 40 years with a new album that is a worldwide success
My best regards from
Buenos Aires (Argentina)
Check out Too Much Heaven, the official video.
If you guys haven't reacted to "Too Much Heaven" by the Bee Gees; you should.
They started in the late 60s through the 90s. Bee Gees (Brothers Gibb) are an American import from Australia
Actually born on the Isle of Man, making them British
Brit here. They are British 🇬🇧. Never gave up their British citizenships.
very interesting reaction to this song from you three.
I'd love you to react to Steve Perry's ,"Foolish Heart". Steve was the lead singer for the group "Journey".
