Absolut genial. Was kann man hier noch für einen Superlativ verwenden. Einfach umwerfend die Performance von Franco Corelli. Seine Stimme und seine Schauspielkunst waren und sind unübertroffen. Bis heute gibt es keinen Tenor, der ihm auch nur annähernd das Wasser reichen kann.
This is a wonderful. I have heard no tenor since 1960 with this size of voice who could Sing above bflat with the power and freedom of Franco Corelli. He remains my favorite Spinto Dramatic tenor.

Un bellissimo omaggio al più grande tenore del 900.Uno scandalo che per i 100 anni dalla nascita non sia stato fatta nessuna menzione in TV e senza articoli commemorativi sui giornali.In altri paesi avrebbero trasmesso una puntata in prima serata con uno dei suoi concerti...La cultura e la giusta mentalità la si crea con le proposte ma siamo schiavi dell'audience purtroppo..E quindi un grande grazie a RUclips e in questo caso all'autore del video che ci permettono di conoscere non solo cantanti straordinari ma un pezzo della nostra storia..

I play him almost every day A te, O cara, while he plays with my phone (I only know this aria with Corelli; are there other arias with him from I Puritani?) Now he knows the melody. I don't know who I like more in A te, o cara, Corelli or Di Stefano. Or Lauri-Volpi. I need your input.

I heard many great tenors like Pavarotti, Caruso, Carreras, Bregonzi etc etc..... Yet, Corelli has a place of his own. No one was good more than him. True and correct Opera singing and acting = Corelli. Any other statement would be simply insulting to his voice.
