Ooo nice! I was at Rugby trainspotting on that day as well! Saw most of the same trains, including the post train!
Why do they send fast trains hurtling down a side platform and not through the middle tracks?
Because platform 5 which is the middle track, splits sharply to join either platform 6 or 4 just after leaving

So many partial/incomplete liveries, you would have thought they'd paint the full design in one go.
Why are trains in the UK so dirty and grimey. Watch any other country trains and they are squeaky clean.
