Morning peak at Wolverton station on Thursday 13th July 2023. Filmed from 6:45am until around 8:30. The main purpose of this trip was to catch the up Caledonian Sleeper service in the summer morning light, so that part of the trip was somewhat of a success. The rest of it was hassle. I've filmed at Wolverton many times, for years now. On this particular morning I was reported and had to explain myself to the British Transport Police and shortly after to a Network Rail "MOM" to explain that I was just a spotter and in fact not a vulnerable person. So I've been visiting Wolverton station for years and never had any issues but suddenly now I'm getting reported and advised I'm not allowed to be on the "fast line" platforms because I frightened an Avanti driver by being there. Even the police found that amusing.
