Just bought one ! This is the best review ive seen on RUclips. I couldn’t decided which enter-level printer I should buy. After watching this review, I immediately ordered one .And it runs great!
First of all, you are *an excellent reviewer JV* Certainly one of the best on YT, I have to say. I really enjoy a lot all your unboxing and tests. So, a huge *CONGRATS* for you, JV. And definitely it would be great to have an honest and in deep comparison with the Creality CR-6 SE, if it is comming from you. I'll be waiting for that !. Many greetings from South America, Santiago de Chile. This is John.
Thank you SOOOO MUCH for this. I bought this printer (seems to be a newer model but same name) and it was a bit tricky for first time setup. Got it running now and I am testing prints. Had no idea how to do anything and you've been wonderful help. The manual was a bit tricky but got it working through your video! TYSM
Outstanding resource for BIQU B1 assembly. I would not have succeeded based on the included instructions alone. Your explanations and videography provided the extra help I needed. Thanks much!
This one pretty much perfected the Ender 3 style printer. Theres nothing you can add, sure you can use more expensive steppers (and add a x axis tensioner why didnt they add that) This machine is the final ender 3 evolution (without just throwing more expensive hardware at it)
No, that gap is supposed to be there in the backend of the Benchie, so you were right about the precision part. But also it's the same type of quality that the revamped edition of the TRONXY XY-2 PRO has right out of the box and I think it has to do with the magic juice from the TMC2225 Stepper Drivers because it has been nothing but [op notch quality from a entry $200 dollar printer and I love it so much, it's become my favorite and also the foundation for my new CORE-XY Variant and I'm just about finished with it, when I came across this review. I was astounded just as you are here 😆 but have fun and stay safe!
I really like your review. I bought a Geeetech A20M with a 3D Touch bed leveler. I have been out of 3d printing for a couple of years so had a learning curve. After buying the A20M I realized I had to flash the firmware. I was very disappointed with everything I had to do to get it up and running. Maybe you can do a video on installing an auto bed leveler on this printer. Again thanks for the attention to detail in the video. I saw somewhere the open plugs on the back of the base were for power for a 3D touch.
If you want I can share the profile that I use for PrusaSlicer.I add there PLA/PETG/PP/TPU. But before that you relay need to calibrate the printer. Here is a good startup:teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html#pid
I'd like to put in another request for the model files. Thank you. Good review. I just received my B1 and used this to assemble it. So far it is working well.
Love the video. I bought one with the BLTouch ABL, but I am having problems setting up the ABL. Could you do a video showing the the steps needed to install and configure the ABL. Thanks!!!
Thanks for this beautiful review. Will you tell us where to find the 3D printing model files you where using? I'd like to print them for comparison :-) Greetings from Northern Germany
I just got this printer, and although the directions look really good, your set up video was great. I started printing before I finished your video, I also had the problem with it stopping mid print on the Pokémon file. Soni stopped the print and tried the bear and it printed just fine. Also didn't follow directions very well lol. I went to install the little Z-stop bracket and realized I had the hole on the wrong side 🙄🤦♂️.
@@moommomo1100 Look at all the upgrades it has over the Ender 3 V2 that are already ON the printer. Let alone that Bl Touch is just a plug-and-play option. Looks very good. One can always still swap out the PSU for a Mean Well power unit.
Hi Just, one question I review lot of video on 3D Printer setup. Why the builder all never use threadlocker (e.g loctite 243) on the screws. I thought 3D have lot of movement and all those factory screw doesn't coat with threadlocker?????
What's weird is I got best quality prints with the sample filament. It was brittle, already broken in the bag in a few places, but still... best overhangs. Couldn't produce as good Bulbusar with different filament, and white PLA is supposed to be the hardest to print... well, for me it was the easiest.

Great explanation, I bought mine last month is a container ship now; should be getting it in October. Can’t wait to get. Are you going to make a video with 3D printed upgrades for this printer?
After I updated the printer with latest firmware, the knob light does not work. The option to change its color under Feature settings is no longer there.
Just putting mine together right now and wiring harness is not labeled correctly. I have 2 marked X and none marked E. They are both same size plug. Hope I guess right!
Hi, in minute 48:40 you said all the layers are printed in 0.6mm layer height. I guess, you wanted to say 0.06mm, or did you mean 0.16mm layer height, as you mentioned in another review of a 3d printer? Because otherwise the frog would look like very abstract and not that smooth. Am I right? :-) Anyways, thanks for this fantastic review, which made me buy this printer and I am happy with it right now. I love to print the spaceship, but have no idea where to find it in the internet :-) Have a good day and greetings from Germany.

Y-Axis Home Not Working Correctly Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with my 3D printer where the Y-axis home is not working correctly. When I press the limit switch, it lights up green, but the motor doesn't stop. I'm using a BIQU-B1 3D printer, and I'm not sure what's causing the problem.
