@supermansdaddy7019 I don't think he intentionally saved Brody imo. Sure he looked at him when he was under the building. But with the MUTO scene Brody just happened to be there at the right time.
I love the way Goji was shot and written in this show. It really brings back that cosmic horror vibe we got from the 2014 movie. Even though Godzilla's screen time in “Monarch Legacy of Monsters” is low, I feel like his presence is utilized a lot better here compared to a certain other Godzilla series where he has minimal screen time, with that other series being "Godzilla Singular Point". This is because “Monarch” is not solely focused on Godzilla, but rather on the world that he and other Titans inhabit, as well as the origin story for Monarch’s organization. Godzilla's name is not even included in the show's title. Therefore, when Godzilla does make an appearance, it has a much greater impact. I’m gonna call it, and I know because it’s been 10 weeks of this, but all the shots of Goji in the day time, him being insanely detailed for a tv show and getting to have a brawl at the end to cap everything off *still* won’t be enough for season 1.
That hands-on combat is the type of fight style I love to see Godzilla use in every one of his movies, I really do hope he fights like that more in Godzilla x Kong The New Empire!
The fact that all Godzilla scenes can be summed-up in a 4 minute video out of how many episodes is why I won't watch the show but WILL watch all monster-related clips here on YT!
This sequence was insane, it was quick but it was the highlight of the entire series. Godzilla was brutal fighting, it shows his evolution until the fight against Ghidorah and explains a lot how he can be as fatal as he was against Kong, the series wasn't going to explore Godzilla visually, but it was good to have this glimpse and be more inserted in the events before from apex and ghidorah.
I am so unbelievably excited for a potential season 2, because if they do make it, it will literally be taking place during the height of Monarch's power and funding and we'd get to probably see Monarch conduct active operations instead of being in the shadows. Like imagine we get episodes about trying to prevent smaller-scale titan outbreaks on a weekly basis.
And the Monsterverse continues to eliminate its enemies in brutal ways, I can’t believe Godzilla just had enough with The Ion Dragon and ripped it’s wing off.

Yooo this show turned out to be good then it turned out to be LEGENDARY Kong making an appearance! Wow and Godzilla's fighting style exceptionally awesome.
Well the series is titled Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and I think it is meant at the shady ways and shady people in the organization conducting themselves. Also, the main young people on the show aren't that likeable, so in a sense the " Legacy of Monsters" may refer to people like them as well. The Titans are more of a how they affect people and Monarch searching and studying them through any means possible, legal and very illegal way.

This show was very enjoyable for what it was. A tsunami of hate was expected from the beginning with it being focused mostly on the humans, but I really didn't mind much. I enjoy the politics behind corporations like Monarch, Apex, and the military, and how they'd react to Titans. Besides, some of the actors like Kurt Russell, his son, and the actress who plays Keiko gave absolute stellar performances!

The fight of Godzilla vs Ion Dragon, probably, is too short but is the best sequence of a fight of Godzilla ever made. Godzilla looks so badass in this fight.
Ion dragon stand no chance that's why
@@ammadkhan2352reminds me of how the Gyaos vs Gamera in Gamera Rebirth went. Both flyers stood no chance at winning and got dismantled so hard
@@ammadkhan2352 just a weaker male muto
It was “too short” because it isn’t built like that to take on Godzilla
@@deobrandoe1394 tbf the male muto got one shot when the female left, the dragon is definitely stronger as it tanked several hits and a point blank atomic breath
WOW!!!! That Godzilla fight was very primal and aggressive 💯 love it
You know things are serious when Godzilla dismembers his enemy without mercy.
I haven’t seen the show yet, but I’m already liking what I’m seeing. The fact they used the 2014 design is honestly amazing. A lot of companies wouldn’t use their old designs for past events
I really liked the detail of him being leaner and smaller before the castle bravo nuke powerup. he looked closer to the old showa godzilla
Most of the events taking place in this series happen immediately after the 2014 Godzilla film timeline so that's why
The monster scenes look absolutely amazing
The definitive way to watch this quality rollercoaster of a show
I gotta say Godzilla entrance to the hollow earth looks epic
Ahhhh it was perfect! Goosebumps the entire time! The way they connected the story to the movies, amazing.
watched the last 3:15 multiple times. Badass fight scene, whoever choreograph the cgi battle deserves a raise, its was a savage G man.
Okay. That was a bad ass finisher.
Kong!!!!!! Wonder if season 2 will have a lot of Kong!!
I wonder how much it cost them because these scenes of all the monsters are outstanding!
it is apple tv we are talking, they have money i hope season 2 is going to blow our mind also
I bet you they cut some budget off props and practical, I found some of the set designs kinda iffy, especially with Monarch HQ but if it was the price to pay for this vfx then I pay it gladly.
Surprisingly they haven't spent too much money, it is all done within reasonable TV budget.
They said 15 million. To make the series. Hey Disney and Spielberg put that on your pipe and smoke it .... Then u wonder why crap is so expensive . Takes 200 million for Pacific rim lol
The only thing I missed: his scream of victory. The fight between Godzilla and the Ion Dragon itself... perfect!
Honestly Godzilla didn't sweat fighting Ion Dragon because it was a cakewalk for him lol no need for scream of victory though would've made for a satisfying ending since this was the last 10 minutes of the final episode after all
2:57 Lady: Did you see👀
Me: Pretty hard to miss actually!!
3:30 Godzilla walking into the kids room.
Godzilla: WTF is going on in here?
The finale was a top-notch episode
What a Great Ending! Can’t wait for season 2
That one minute of a final battle is literally the second best mv fight, after the Hong Kong GVK battle
Finally, the only scenes that matter!
So many short yet great moments. I can't wait for the finale
It’s out now, go watch it!
Where can i watch it? @@DangerVille

Man the CGi in this was outstanding!
I hope that in GxK will look just as good as this one.
And boy I wasn’t expecting the Ion dragon put up much of a fight on Godzilla. But the result was obvious because Godzilla had faced much tougher opponents and similar ones like the ion dragon.
And darn I wasn’t expecting Kong to make an appearance!
I love the continuity with Godzilla dorsal plates, They definitely have passion for the Monsterverse❤
I’m gonna call it, and I know because it’s been 10 weeks of this, but all the shots of Goji in the day time, him being insanely detailed for a tv show and getting to have a brawl at the end to cap everything off *still* won’t be enough for season 1.
OH BABY HE'S BEAUTIFUL. Edit 2:46 Gotta love to hear that roar
Oh hell yeah thats what i want to see godzilla's fighting style looks like!
Great scenes of Godzilla during the Monarch legacy of monsters series.
Spoiler:
The appearance of Kong at the end was a nice surprise.
The CGI on this show was given respect. Just hope GXK's CGI shows some good qualities as well.
1:11 "huh?"
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Man's said "tf is that?" Then got flashbanged
That hands-on combat is the type of fight style I love to see Godzilla use in every one of his movies, I really do hope he fights like that more in Godzilla x Kong The New Empire!
The fact that all Godzilla scenes can be summed-up in a 4 minute video out of how many episodes is why I won't watch the show but WILL watch all monster-related clips here on YT!
Goosebumps after seeing Kong in last scene
One of the two GREATEST stars in the MonsterVerse. You gotta love it, man!
This just shows how brutal Godzilla really is in hand to hand combat fr!! And way he appeared at the Hallow Earth was sooo cold!🥶🥶🔥🔥😍😍‼
I swear the way Godzilla be finishing his foes are MK worthy
And the Monsterverse continues to eliminate its enemies in brutal ways, I can’t believe Godzilla just had enough with The Ion Dragon and ripped it’s wing off.
This is why godzilla is my favorite fictional character
aside from him ripping a wing off at the head, the sound of him ripping a toe off sounds gruesome at 3:40
It was actually one of the tail spikes he ripped off, not the toe.
If the battles in The New Empire are gonna be anything like that fight with the Ion Dragon we're in for treat.
Oh my God konggggggggg
THATS WHAT I SAID
EVEN THO IM GODZILLA FAN
He probably heard Monster Zero's Alpha Call, but Kong decided to ignore him.
Yesssss
@@alphagojira5647maybe. But that would indicate a large time skip. Cause that storm doesn’t form till right before Godzilla and ghidorah are hit by the oxygen destroyer
@@alphagojira5647I really hope that’s why he’s roaring!!!!
THIS is Godzilla. His scenes were great! Loved how they really made you feel his weight...something that New Empire is apparently lacking.
Hands down one of the best fights throughout this incarnation's runtime
Awesome, you saved me the trouble of watching Monarch, this is all I want lol
Their CGI is better than the Godzilla minus One movie.
As a true fan of the monstroverse, I loved the series, I was very happy to discover more about Monarch, these fans who don't like the series aren't real fans, as they just want to see a fight
Kong at the end was unexpected and that part was sick
I’m just confused onto why it’s so stormy on Skull Island even though the storm doesn’t take over Skull Island until 2019/2020. If they were down there for 2 years, it would only be 2017. 2 years before the events of KOTM.
@@chef2042Maybe a storm just was rolling by? Skull Island IS in the middle of the pacific and while the perpetual storm never touched the island before then, that doesn’t mean that any storms or bad weather passing by would’ve been stopped.
@@dragonflyer4656 you’d think any passing storm would just be absorbed or repelled by the perpetual storm no? Hopefully season 2 (if there is one because oh my god I have so many questions) explains it.
@@chef2042 the perpetual storm itself is unnatural. It can be assumed that it has some qualities that aren’t fully realistic. Storms don’t always combine into one megastorm IRL either, it could just be that a storm passing by takes a bit of the intensity of the PS but still continues to truck forward onto the island itself.
@@chef2042 so the reason why is because when ghidorah in 2019 created massive storms one of them hit skull island but due to the hollow earth the stormed stay their permanently that’s why Kong was seen in a containment area
Godzilla's back!!!!!!!❤
I like how he moved fast but didn't feel too weightless.
Godzilla went from a slow kaiju that's out of shape to an energetic fit brawler. Very much approved.
CGI is absolutely fantastic
Better than the gxk 💀
I was really hoping this show was gonna show Titanus Jinshin-Mushi like how they shows Castle Bravo, or at least talk about it like how the official novelization does for KoTM, making the redesign of the dorsal plates make a ton more sense.
Say whatever you want but that Godzilla nuke scene is a meme material 😂
Yooo this show turned out to be good then it turned out to be LEGENDARY Kong making an appearance! Wow and Godzilla's fighting style exceptionally awesome.
The fight may have been short BUT DAMMM IT was sick
The fight scenes with Godzilla were amazing.
Damn, the iron dragon put up a fairly good fight.
Ngl I was expecting it to be very weak, but turned out to be a fairly good fighter
I’d say it’s at least as strong as the male Muto, if not stronger.
What's crazier was that the ion dragon actually tanked Godzilla's hits yet our poor male Muto got one slotted by Godzilla's tail and fucking died.
@@ziriebenton6659 correct
I mean to be fair dude got teared and destroyed but he did last long that was literally it
I love how aggressive godzilla fought that bat dragon titan. I guess he really pissed the G man so bad lol
I get Godzilla isn't the main focus of the show but he was the main selling point. Really bummed me out that he got such little screen time.
Exactly. The shills will defend it though.
@@EternalRomanwell the show wasn't about monarch anyways, more like legacy of teen drama with monarch cameos
@@spinosaurusstriker Well then, in a way I'm a bit right, for they are the real monsters, lol
@@EternalRoman haha man.... What a dissapointing show.
My favorite part about Godzilla is how he just takes nappy naps wherever he wants. That's a vibe
So great to see the g man for the last time with his blue atomic breath before gxk (i know the original design is gonna in the movie) but still it was good seeing the g man with his blue atomic breath i Also liked when he went through the hollow earth portal
This is the Godzilla i was hoping for, not to much of him but when he was there he was awsome and the final fight scene is one of the best in the monsterverse and its only around a minute
This show was very enjoyable for what it was. A tsunami of hate was expected from the beginning with it being focused mostly on the humans, but I really didn't mind much. I enjoy the politics behind corporations like Monarch, Apex, and the military, and how they'd react to Titans. Besides, some of the actors like Kurt Russell, his son, and the actress who plays Keiko gave absolute stellar performances!
people complain about the human stuff but I like it just as much as the monster stuff. like people say they want 2 hrs of just monster fights but they really don't. that's just a cartoon
Being that I watch pro wrestling, less is more & even though Godzilla was on every episode, the times he was let's you know exactly how important & impactful Godzilla is. Was hoping a Dr. Ichiro Serizawa cameo but if they get a 2nd season, one can hope he's on there. I love the series. Well done
This can not be possible...
I would recognize that roar anywhere...
And it can only mean one thing...
The king of the monsters has arrived on the battlefield🔥
This CGI is just absolutely fascinating, my eyes are satisfied in every way shape and form, my favorite thing about Godzilla in this movie is the way he fights, bro is a force to be reckoned with.
Eventhough I'm not a Godzilla fan I would love to see a much more aggressive fighting style from Godzilla in the future.
His fighting style is similar to bears and Komodo Dragons. What could top those?
Godzilla is a lot more aggressive here, and I’m all here for it lol. I think seeing Godzilla RIP is opponents apart is a lot more satisfying than seeing him just beam them and blow them up.
Kinda wish he appeared more. I get that Godzilla wasn’t the focus of the show but it’s Godzilla, he was the main thing that would’ve drawn in audiences. And it didn’t even have to be a budget thing, this is apple, they could afford it.
No
@@emilyhone6219 yeah, definitely a troll
Love how brutal and savage Godzilla is even when temporarily blinded hes clawing and grabbing in rage just to rip the ion dragin apart
We need more if this Savage Godzilla. .
4:32 4:37 4:40 KONG KING OF THE HOLLOW EARTH!!!!!!!!!!
0:12, with headphones, this roar is just fire 🔥
The monster verse is incredible it's like Marvel Universe I never expected to see something like this in Godzilla he's like the Hulk Or all the other monster superheroes In Marvel Godzilla The ultimate monster superhero Let's give it up for the king of monsters
Godzilla has been become pretty famous lately
It would be great if it also had the writing of phase 2 and 3 and not 4
I hope all future monsterverse fighting scenes look like this because it's really smooth
I never got to see the show yet but I am happy I got to see Kong hope to see him fighting too
It's the final ep.
@@pedropaulocarvalho4554 I really like Kong and hearing his roar at the end of the video great
He will in season 2
Yes, what I've always thought when watching a Godzilla movie is "I wish there was 90% more dumb human shit and 90% less Godzilla" so thank you Apple for making that a reality.
