bonus mention for the final boss, whose name escapes me. while he is a boring "randomly picks a character's moveset" character, he has a unique super animation which is the sickest in the game.
This reminds of a video I watched 10 years ago made by an Ohja stan that was mostly informational, heavily profane, had zero production value and made with nothing but love!

i love that people still talk about this game. growing up the OST drew me in at such a young age, and the characters just popped to me way more than power rangers ever could. genuinely a very close game to the heart, i love it even though it isn’t the best.

the main reason so many climax heroes games feature the ryuki cast is because they were literally built off of this game's engine.
Both honors the legacy by featuring all 13 riders, and as a cheap way to bloat the roster with reused assets.
If only Climax Fighters kept the same formula as Climax Heroes, could've helped that games roster a huge ton.

This game was actually the first fighting game I have ever played.
I first played it like 11 years ago on my cracked wii vut sadly it was in japanese so I didn't understand anything.
And not long ago I saw a clip of that game again somewhere on twitter which made me remember this game and made me want to find more info on it, especially since by now Fighting games have become a huge part of my life.

Onyx and the Survive Mode forms of Dragon Knight and Wing Knight are separate playable characters in this game
I already counted onyx as one of the 13 riders.

I got this game on the basis that it played similarly to GNT/Clash of Ninja
There are 2 versions of this game. The Wii version and the ds version
I know about the DS version! It’s just such a different game (and one I’m way less familiar with) so talking about it would have been beyond the scope of this video

I think climax Heroes and climax heroes w has short gap is probably because w is already being recorded while decade is still in pre production.
There is no Zl button on a Wii remote. Or on a nunchuck

I think The Ryuki rider's character in Kamen rider Climax OOO Copied most of Final vent attacks,and also most of models in this game,Consider that this game Is released before the Climax OOO, It's just my opinion Though
What abot the DS version?
Dragon Knight DS is worth talking about, for sure, but it’s a separate conversation from this game for a few reasons, chief among them being a completely different developer

Ngl as much as I enjoy dk, I kinda hate the fact they made dk 6 strings move list the standard for future installments of the climax heroes series instead of sticking to the og and climax heroes w magic series combo system.
yeah, as much as I think Climax Heroes W was traaaaaaaaaash it was pretty cool that you could do light > heavy > special lol
