My Granny has been in the hospital/nursing home for a month now. It’s wild how everything changes in only minutes. Now I’m the caretaker of my disabled mom while still trying to flourish in my career and life.

So, so heartbreaking to hear this. Sending you so much love and hoping you can find some time to still rest and have joyful moments in the midst of the overwhelm. It truly is wild how fast life changes, but I’m thankful for the times we did get to have and the many more beautiful ones ahead. Much love 💕

Praying for a speedy recovery for mama Sadie! I like both as well. Today made a giant pot of Cajun pinto beans, rice, stuffed jalapenos, and sweet honey cornbread for dinner. Had to smile when you started talking about cornbread. 😊

My grandma passed away just a year and a half ago and it’s been a very crazy wave of emotions. Keep your head up girl!

Yes, girl!!! Yes to getting that new unit!!!💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 I've been in my place for almost 4 years now (4 years this summer), and my unit NEEDS some serious love. I've been doing some research on different budget friendly ways to refresh my space since my landlord has repeatedly stated I can do what I want here by way of improvements. That said, I'm hoping they'll be willing to help me redo the kitchen cabinets and counters, because I want to buy my own vintage style fridge. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 you went out on a limb regarding that different unit and got what you needed, hoping for a similar outcome.

Ah my first bad b*sh song of the year, all is right in my life now!
My grandma got so sick a couple months ago and was in the hospital for weeks then as soon as she got home she fell and broke her hip and had to go right back to the hospital for weeks and then go to a rehabilitation center. And esp not being able to live near loved ones makes it even harder bc youre always nervous you wont be able yo see them again. And youre right...the way life doesnt stop moving. It just adds layers on and its alot. Sending love to you, youre doing great!
