I hide my identity to some people and seriously they took me for granted. It pains and break my heart anytime I remember. I have wasted years and I thank God I changed after my father died. It's good to be yourself, am happy at least I put all those fake behind although I lost great things. I pray to God to give me a job so I can be the better person I want to be.

I learnt the skill to know when I am not truly my authentic self by asking myself those questions which I find very brilliant as dipsticks. Otherwise I just received a confirmation that majority of instances I am my authentic self indeed. Great video, I have spent years people pleasing and not voicing my opinion. I’ve always agreed with other people in conversations even if deep down I know are beliefs are not the same. But I’m so ready to start being my authentic self. I know it won’t be easy but it will be worth it.

I'll be honest and say that if I was in a situation with people with different opinions from me, I would personally not say anything, but I would be very eager to leave/ keep tags of those people's opinions so I know where I can place them in my life. You see the issue with voicing your opinion is not only may you possibly get backlash, but people may keep tags on your opinion pretend to agree with you so that they can get closer to you and once they've got you, they'll bring you down (narcissim). The example that Lucy used is in my opinion subjective. I am a naturally calm person so my personal preference is to avoid and distance, but as Lucy mentioned before she is a naturally loud/ feisty spirit so maybe voicing her opinion would work for her, but for me personally I like to take note of people's opinions and distance them from me according to the position I will allow them to have in my life. I just find it less stressful that way. This comment I made is to show that it's important to know yourself, so that you know how to manoeuvre subjective situations like this in a way that is the most fulfilling and less stressful as possible to you. *You* will only know, the best way for *you* to deal with the situation.
