I'm convinced of this size of bag. I have a similar one from a competitor, it's quite a *modular* little *sling* that also have detachable strap. Like you said, it's perfect for days when you just want to get out for a while with just the essentials but not having to bother with stuff in pockets. Or pants without any pockets. And it also works as a organizing pouch for the Sidekeep RDX.
If you're someone that's into having an essentials EDC pouch thing, I think making it be able to be a small sling is a great idea. Easy to have your essentials always with you whether or not you're carrying a bigger bag or not.
Most likely I'll get one CB after my adulting for the moment is done. Want to compare the CB with the one I have right now. The winning feature with the CB right now is the velcro bush I mean patch area that's absent on my little modular sling ;)
