    I respectfully suggest that Greenroom136 consider enhancing the design of the shoulder straps on their bag. While the current design may aim for a tactical and EDC aesthetic, it appears somewhat excessive and cluttered with unnecessary buckles. Streamlining the design while maintaining its robustness would improve the overall appearance of the bag.

    Thank you! How do you like this compared to the Aer Flight Pack 3? I'm deciding between the two, as the standard wait time for the Northseeker is 6+8 weeks production.

    So, no laptop compartment? 🤔 edit: Ah, you have to buy the Bookpouch for that...

    Great job!! Note: The Recycled Firefighter 12 and 24 Hour backpacks make their front, exterior, vertical work perfectly!!!!

    The really big problem with the green room bag its the sound of the zio 😅 the gingly its too loud . Yes you can costumize them but i usually reviw the bag not custom

    does this bag "stands" on its own ?

      It does especially if you load it up with heavy items on the bottom.

    Nice review again! Thanks. Always wanna try greenroom136 but never yet. As the style of pack not so me, this one seems can fit my need with the design. Love the top main compartment access, is a nice detailing for user hopefully it won’t affect the structural of shoulder straps in longer term, also the zipper pull dangling sound is quite annoying!
    How will you deal with it?

    • @PKShiu

      It’s a standard practice to replace or add paracord zipper pulls to all green room bags. If you look at the rainmaker at the start of the video I have added them

    It looks like the Bookpouch eats into the main compartment quite a bit. I'm trying to decide between the 25L and 20L. I'd mainly use it for EDC but I'd also like to use it for short-term travel. Do you think it would be worth upgrading to the 25L?

    hi, nice review. can you confirm if it is indeed the small size camera kitpouch that fits nicely in the northseeker 20l?

    • @PKShiu
      @PKShiu  5 месяцев назад

      The one that I have in the video is the XS, 15cm wide. The S is 20cm wide and will fit also.

    Nowadays, a 20-liter bag is considered large, and even a 15-liter one is sizable. It seems most buyers are interested in bags that are 15 liters or smaller, like the Alpaka Metro or Able Carry 13-liter. This trend is likely because devices are becoming more compact. While there are many options available in the 20-liter size, smaller bags of 15 liters and less are fewer but are capturing a significant market share.

      I am about to review the larger version, in that video I will talk about which one i think is the one to get!

    I like Greenroom's overall design philosophy but the finer details would make this more upgraded for me personally. For example, the bottle pocket could be stretchable on one side to complement the asymmetrical front design, a stretchy pocket also stays flush when not used instead of a gaping pocket. The side molle should have been compression straps so you can cinch the additional volume when not expanded, or used to hold tripods etc. The YKK zipper puller hardware could use the newer design instead of the standard zipper which is longer. I also don't get the mesh pocket design, why can't it be full length zipper and instead make the opening smaller than the actual pocket lenght? The front has a patch on the top and the logo at the bottom, would prefer just having one patch on top and the logo be something more discreet like a side label where it is hidden. The inner pockets could have some elastic so it isn't so loose.

      They tend to share the same design feature across their bags. I do agree with some of your suggestions, and I know Patrick is always listening and thinking. If you do the wildcard order you can customize some of the features but not everything you said. I will be reviewing the larger version of the Northseeker, so stay tuned.

    Excellent review. The lighting definitely makes it seem like you have this lovely deep purple color which I'd totally dig if that was an actual color choice.

    Love it! Lots of Alpha One Niner influence with a hint of GoRUck and a nod to Evergoods on the face of the bag. And love the customization options. I got the 25L in multicam black with a velco back panel for the tech/book pouch. Added some organization to the front vertical zippered pocket. Widened the opening of the hidden back pocket and added a luggage pass through.

      @@PKShiu I know PK! That's why I was so excited for your 25L review. The velcro back panel looks awesome. For some purposes, I am looking at some Vanquest hook and loop organizer accessories in place of the book pouch (or floating the book pouch).

    Does the bookpack not fit into the bigger slip pocket on the back panel? Assuming its the medium bookpack. I think I'd want it to fit and stay in there, because maybe the bookpack might fall over if i ever open clamshell while the pack is standing

    • @PKShiu
      @PKShiu  10 месяцев назад

      The medium size does not fit in the slip pocket. The bookpack is pretty thick because of the padding. I often use it as a mini bag for my laptop, charger and headset. It is that large and useful.

    Great review! I wonder why greenroom likes to use "shiny" type straps that don't feel very nice to the touch and breaks the whole matte look of cordura. Are these kinds of straps supposed to be stronger?

    • @PKShiu
      @PKShiu  Год назад

      Good question! I do not know the answer. Let me see if I can find out.

    • @HandlebecauseIMust
      @HandlebecauseIMust Год назад

      I've wondered the same, they don't feel as nice as the usual ones. They're not as rigid and the shine takes away from the rest of the bag. It's one reason I got rid of the Rainmaker. Beautiful bags but those straps need to go.
