MG Astor is priced from Rs 10.82 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh ( ex-showroom pan-India).It is offered in four trims: Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. Each trim gets an EX variant, which loses some safety features.
with five different colours: Spiced Orange, Aurora Silver, Glaze Red, Candy White and Starry Black.
Engine and Transmission: The SUV gets two petrol engine options: a 1.3-litre turbocharged unit (making 140PS and 220Nm) and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated mill (110PS and 144Nm). While the former is mated only to a six-speed automatic, the latter gets a six-speed manual and CVT options.
It gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
In terms of safety, it gets up to six airbags and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping/departure assist, high-beam assist and blind-spot detection. It also comes with a 360-degree camera and an electronic stability programme (ESP).
