Par baat toh wahi hai engine hi toh tagda nhi hai iss car mein. Features hi features hain. Thoda sa powerful engine chahiye iss car mein jo manual transmission mein aaye, phir yeh segment ki best car bann jaegi.
I purchased Ecosport TDCI in 2014 only because of Good Engine and driving dynamics. Take my word, no vehicle is complete without these two features. Though , it didn't had tech gizmo features, but the vehicle still shows promising performance even after driving 110000, as on date.

People often misunderstand the "Naturally aspirated (NA)" engines. Their pickup is always linear. But yes ,in certain cases,one has to keep the gear lower(than usual )while overtaking or climbing a hill. This confusion arose after the Turbocharged engines came to market.

Don't be depressed bro after first full service power will improve a lot, In city now can drive without accelerators even in 5th gares at 50 kmph speed and mileage between 10-12. I have drove approx 14k kms now getting very decent mileage. On highways, u can easily get 18-22 kmpl in light footed driving. Just try to keep rpms between 2000-2500. So don't worry just enjoy the car.
it is not the service which makes the mileage improve. when will people learn its the turn on/ burn in time which matters.

@@vickyvishalful I am talking about power and driveability not mileage bro...mileage depends upon our nature of acceleration....in city driving earlier I had to push the engine which was hampering the mileage but now as I don't require to accelerate much in city it has improved the city mileage, highway mileage was always good for light footed driving

Electronic features are mostly gimmic & you use them mostly for 6months to 1 year after purchasing the car.
If you want to be happy with your car first check out the engine & keep it the main priority as when the car gets old electronic features stop working & the only thing which will make you happy is the engine... The performance & mileage what you get from it.
In this case customer kept features as his priority hence be is unsatisfied... So always keep engine as priority
Exactly my point. It's better to have good drive experience and reliability rather than fancy stuffs... I have Mahindra Verito Diesel, it doesn't have anything special, hydraulic power steering, 65hp, weak AC, doesn't look like other cars (dull design) but engine is 🤩🤩🤩 Renault 1.5 dci, getting more than 25kmpl ! I really like the car.... The more mechanical it feels, the better it drives for me

@@blinktwice5402 the most advanced automatic transmission is DCT which is offered by German brands followed by AT which is found in most of the cars. CVT transmission is less found mostly in honda cars & recently Hyundai/kia have introduced ivt which is clutchless manual transmission

i drive this since 4 months,,, i liked it. i have drove 2850... for first tank it gave me 8-9 KMPL then it gave me 26 KMPL 2nd tank from Delhi to Dheradoon and Back... max speed was 80-85.... recently completed 700 KM mumbai expressway ride where i drove at 115 max and 100 min... total mileage was 16.9

I too own this car, a CVT variant, car gives a mileage of 15-18, its really impressive
MG Astor petrol CVT Highway average only 10km per litre dut meter show 14km with 5 passenger and Delhi city maximum 7km less only,, it's 6000 km review 😰😰
I have taken test drive off turbo petrol ... that was very pepy and the power was superb ... but he have taken turbo he wouldn't regret his discission.. I am driving turbo mg astor for quite time and I have driven every car of this segment i find turbo of this car very good ...
You have to learn to drive this engine , if you press hard car will not respond bit if you will try to press accelerator slight and let your car respond, then you will see the changes.

Bhai maine bhi Astor Super 1.5 MT own karta hun aur maine bhi bina test drive nahi li thi aur pehle mujhe bhi power, milega ka issue tha par ab jab drive experience hone ke baad koi issue nahi hai

Elevate is a gem, and though I drove it for a while, I have no regrets about settling for the Brezza due to budget constraints-it's also fun to drive.
Probably the best and most reliable one its segment currently added bonus that it is no nonsense vehicle

Problem is the lack of roads in "UK" and sky high expectations of Indian buyers; I'm surprised he gets 10 kmpl in such conditions. In the hills you don't need power, you need torque that can pull you out of situations and for that a diesel would be perfect.

you shoudl call such owners on your channel who dont shy away from calling their car a bad car. Most of the other owners keep praising their car irrespective of the real feedback. For the same Astor, you shot a video almost a year ago wherein the owner was saying that they were getting average of 19kmpl from their Astor.

Brother I bought mg 1.5 cvt but avg is good 12 in city and highway 15 to 16. Manual main issues hai per auto main nahi hai. Power down side hai thoda per spot mode main thoda solve ho jata hai. Main bhi Ahmedabad se corg leke gaya hun per driving comfort bohot aacha hai and adds system outstanding. Last 2 yrs se chala raha hun. And skoda owner bhi hun slavia bhi hai 1.5 dsg turbo charged. Per car is really good, not that much bad.
bhaisahab meri v yehi haalat hui thi Jab July main venue li 1.2 l. Usse phele verna 1.6 l chalata tha. Jaise showroom se highway pe utha ghar v liye. Venue rengte hui chal rahi thi. Par ab aadat si ho gayi hai.

Are bhai my Seltos naturally aspirated engine shows even 21, 22 in MID. Never has gone down below 15. Usually shows 17-19 kmpl in MID.
I own sharp mt... Power is adequate... Not the best.. but sufficient enough... Takes 13 seconds for 0-100...
I have been driving all the diesel (xuv500, dzire, figo) engines before this so power is not comparable but i don't find it that much under powered... Just had to change my gear changing habits
As per mid 13.2 mileage for 6000km drive in city with.. (10500 odo reading)... real-life is close to 13... I'm happy with this car to be honest...

Uske purpose ke saath suit nahi karti. Ab mujhe 12-13 lakh mein sundar gaadi chahiye (base variant se acche features aate hain), daily running 10-12 km city mein hai, small family hai, toh isse acchi kya gaadi milegi? Tab yahi gaadi sabse acchi hai…
16 me honda elevate isse lakh Guna achi hai..Maine bhi 1 mahine me elevate 3000 km chaliye hai..
This is actually a pretty good car. The engine power and hence mileage seems less because the build quality is better as MG has used thicker steel. BTW, why is the front grill different on this model?

Mere paas Dzire ZDI ( diesel) top model with ABS brakes 2013 model hai. Aaj bhi behtreen long drive ka aanand deti hai , good pick up, speed 120 par badhiya chalti hai (mai max speed 120 tak chalata hoon ).

Astor 1.5 is really poor when it comes to pickup and acceleration. Even the turbo variant is not that good and does not hold a gear or prefers higher gears in inclines.

I have the same engine specifications and the onwer clearly lacks experience .
In this segment, S-CROSS PETROL 1.5 has highest torque to weight ratio among 1.5 NA Engines!!! S-CROSS is wonderful & powerful petrol car... but now discontinued. You can go for second hand car, but believe me S-CROSS petrol is awesome!!
Creta ka NA engine aisa to bilkul nahi hai bhai saab jaisa aap bol rahe ho..Fully loaded gaadi ghat me lambi chalai hai wo bhi automatic transmission wali without any feeling of losing power.
2nd service ke baad milega bhi 15 - 17 kmpl aa raha hain sath me features and comfort mast hain
