OK, might be my opinion can help - i own new AK and previously wanted so bad Explo1 model, but it was discontinued, then new 36mm was introduced, this year 40mm also was added to Explo1, recently i compared both my AK to Explo1 and i don't regret, AK dial is bigger and more interesting (i already have Sub and Pepsi, so AK brings more diversity to my Rolex set), but for someone who wants one watch only - better choose Explo1.
Yeah agree mostly, I purchased a two tone datejust 41 fluted bezel ( silver dial ) and absolutely love the step up from my previous omega seamaster 300m. Only thing with the two tone and fluted bezel is it’s impossible to stay under the radar, one thing I love about the precious metal gmt with meteorite dial
Both of my rolexes made the grail list (day date/submariner)..made me smile I wish you ranked the panda Daytona on here and the date just blue/green jubilee but this is definitely my favorite RUclips video of Rolex rankings
Deepsea challenge - you def have that in the wrong line that’s def a grail piece alongside all the deepsea models - it’s the ultimate engineering masterpiece, nothing tops it .
I don't know about that. It is completely unwearable. I haven't seen anyone that can wear that watch. At some point it becomes a clock with a bracelet. Anyone can make a deepsea watch if you just throw enough material, size and thickness at it. The normal deepsea yes, that is a normal size watch that can go incredible deep.....but this? I always thought the same about the Rolex bathyscape watch ('53 deep sea), thats not a watch, it's a waterproof container with a movement inside.

I had to double check that I have the Sea-Dweller Deep-sea vs Challenge when you said it is the grossest Rolex. I thought I had the biggest Rolex made, I see the Challenge is bigger 😀
It's easy to say what you like and don't like and then rate it. It's your opinion, some people agree and others don't. Basically all the pieces that people desire are grail and the unpopular ones are gross. I have the Yachtmaster II and have seen a couple of others who have it and love it.
big clear error is the polar explorer, which to me is overrated and the gold sub has to be a classic or grail. steel sub=most popular rolex of someone who has made it, two tone=used car dealer/small time business owner, gold sub=ultimate luxury. Sky Dweller these days have to be higher up too, especially full rose gold sky dweller
Deep Sea Challenge the worst ? YOU GOTTA BE kidding me !!! The father of all Submariners and the James Cameron version's older brother is the worst? Plenty of people like and cherish that watch. Its bold , manly , stylish and goodlooking. Sorry its a big disagree on that one with me...
People are such fools about the Deep Sea. That watch is suited for the most rugged curcumstances. Perhaps a master tradesman, Oil Rig Operator, Special Forces. Rolex simply designed a watch for the for the heavy duty individual. 90 percent are not man enough to wear it.
