WOW! Fantastic haul Nathan 🤩🍿🙌🎸🎶 I really liked ‘The Music Lovers’ which was my first Ken Russell film; it’s on the BFI label 😊👍 ‘Close’ & ‘Decision To Leave’ are fantastic MUBI titles; ‘Benedetta’ was really good aswell. I did like ‘The Taste Of Things’; I remember Warren (Goose’s Movies) speaking highly about ‘Babette’s Feast’ which is a film I’m dying to see! Glad to hear you had such an amazing time in the U.K Nathan; great when you travel around new places and go on these adventures and meeting up with fellow friends of the Film Community; such a great feeling 😀🍿🎸🎶 ‘Trenquen Lauren’ is possibly the longest film I have ever seen; I really did like it Nathan; probably one I won’t return to for a long while; but I thought it was a solid drama nonetheless 😀👍 Hirokazu Koreeda is a fantastic director indeed; I absolutely love ‘Shoplifters’; my favourite film to come out of 2018; ‘Afterlife’; ‘Broker’ & ‘Monster’ are really great films of his aswell. Awesome video Nathan; hope you doing well and keep up the fantastic work on the channel 😀🍿🙌🎸🎶
Cheers pal! Glad to be back in action. I'll be sure to meet up with you next go around 🤘 I'll be adding some of these recs you had to the list 🙌 Again, cheers Sam 🤘
Fantastic vacation haul, Nathan. I'd put Kind Hearts And Coronets high on your watch list. It's amazing. I watched it, took 5 minutes and watched it again. It's that good. I'm a big fan of the Mubi line so I'm very happy I'm able to grab them from Orbit. Closer is so good and equally heartbreaking. Decision To Leave- brilliant. I love anything Juliette Binoche so I was very happy to see you grab a few of her movies. Atom Egoyan has so many great movies and I'm working through my boxset as we speak. So many great pick-ups and I'm looking forward to your journal journey. Love ya. ❤️❤️
Thanks Steph! I may or may not have seen Kind Hearts 🙃 Mubi is brilliant and I'm in love with what they release. I'll be see more Binoche and finally check out Egoyan 🙌 Always love seeing you my friend ❤️❤️
It's so great that you got to go to the U.K. again. Sounds like it was a great trip. And very nice haul! Good for you for throwing caution to the wind and picking up all those Blu-rays. A lot of interesting-looking movies I now want to add to my watch list. That's funny you bought Chocolat, cause that's a movie I've been thinking about recently. I somehow saw it when I was in high school, way before I even knew who Claire Denis was, and it's stuck with me ever since. I really want to rewatch it as an adult. Waiting for Guffman is a classic I'm sure you'll enjoy. I'm just so glad you've rediscovered your passion for movies and physical media and are sharing it with everyone. Your voice has been sorely missed here!
Thanks so much Roni! I certainly changed my mind with the 24 title challenge 🤣 I'll be checking out Chocolat soon enough 🙌 And I'm glad to be back, it's been feeling good 🤘
Wow...that is an amazing haul!! The Three Burials of Melquiades is fantastic!! I saw it a few years ago in a film class and it blew me away. I think you will love it.
I just watched my first Ken Russell, The Devils with Oliver Reed which is bonkers and amazing. Will check out White Worm and Gothic for sure, and about 10 other titles that you mentioned 😊 Thank you!!
Hey Nathan, so great to see you back making videos again, and excited for the new direction for the channel! (The whole buying stuff to impress ourselves or others, hit me hard! A great observation and something I've been thinking about too.) An absolutely stellar bunch of pickups here. The Atom Egoyan boxset was one of my favourite film journeys I've taken in recent years. He's got a great unique style and there are some superb films in there. Cross of Iron I saw at the end of last year and it blew me away. Brutal and brilliant! And Kind Hearts and Coronets is one of my favourite British films, and hilarious too. Hope you have a wonderful time making your way through these, and I hope you had a great time in the UK, and the bafflingly strange weather wasn't too bad!
Goose, I love ya man and wish I was able to meet you when I was over. Let's try for next time 🤘 Thanks for the kind words and comments on these films. And honestly I loved the weather coming from a place of 40° + humidity 😅
I’ll be interested in hearing more of what you think of Benedetta - I liked and disliked so many parts- so it was hard to say my final thought. but it keeps crossing my mind and not one talked about much. Close and Decision to leave.. both on my current watchlist. Please discuss Juliette Binoche! I love her films! I can’t wait to watch a taste of things! Great pickups Nathan!
I'll be coming up with my thoughts soon enough, but I'm in a similar state with Benedetta. I'll have to note that down about Juliette Binoche, she's terrific! Thanks for being here, Sue!
Glad to see you picked up Chan-wook Park’s, Decision to Leave. I’ve been wanting it for a long time, broke down and bought it off of Orbitdvd and even paid shipping, which is always difficult for me. Be sure to let us know your thoughts. I blew a gasket, when Amazon drastically reduced the price this past Prime Day sale. But that seems to happen to me all the time. 😭
Hey Nathan, what happened to your cutting back on purchases to two titles a month? 🤣 That’s ok, I haven’t been able to hold myself to it either. 🫤 Oh well, when London is calling, all bets are off! Great films. I’m happy you had such an awesome opportunity.
Watch Kind Hearts & Coronets ASAP. Classic Ealing comedy. Alec Guiness plays so many parts, Peter Sellers would be jealous.
I'll be on it soon enough 🙌 Thanks again for all the wonderful recs pal!
Great haul. ‘Decision to Leave’ is a fantastic film. I’m looking forward to my visit to Fopp and HMV in a couple of months.
Thanks pal! Have fun in your visit in the coming months and happy bluray hunting 🤘

Nice pickups. Highly recommend The Adjuster from the Atom Egoyan boxset! Curious what movie fans think of that one, as I believe it's very underseen.
Cheers pal! Excited to finally check out Egoyan 🙌 I'll be sure to note that one as a must watch soon.

Three Burials is superb as is The Small Back Room
@@AndyKing1963 very excited to check that one out! Thanks for watching, Andy!
Wow...that is an amazing haul!! The Three Burials of Melquiades is fantastic!! I saw it a few years ago in a film class and it blew me away. I think you will love it.
Thanks, Mike! Really excited to watch that western, I've heard just tremendous things. Cheers my friend 🤘
Under the Silver Lake is in top 3 A24 movies ever released. Great film.
Very excited for it! Cheers pal 🤘
I just watched my first Ken Russell, The Devils with Oliver Reed which is bonkers and amazing. Will check out White Worm and Gothic for sure, and about 10 other titles that you mentioned 😊 Thank you!!
I'll have to check more Ken Russell now (I've watched both titles since 😂)! Thanks for the kind words pal, hope you enjoy some of those recs 🤘
@@blu-rayswithnathanjones Will do for sure! I've seen Cache, Gonjiam, Upgrade and Jeepers Creepers before. Going to check Cross of Iron very soon

Stage fright was one that I saw as a part of a Dismember the Alamo event. It was so good!
That would be a terrific theater experience! Such a well crafted slasher.
Woman in Black is a great release - sad I missed the limited edition but nevermind! The Appointment is superb too
I'm just glad to finally have it and it was splendidly scary! Loved The Appointment too, such great use of a budget. Cheers pal!

I hate when that happens! It's happened to me a few too many times myself 😅 Hopefully our luck turns around 🤘 Thanks Mark!
The Woman in Black TV version is (IMHO) the best version, even though Susan Hill hated it. Script by Nigel Kneale I seem to remember
Very excited to check out that version and am glad Davy was able to snag it for me. It may be something to kick of the spooky season early, haha!
That is a very spooky film

Haha, I lapsed 😂 But it did take me until the trip to break, so it was a good attempt. I had a terrific time. Thanks for being here, Mark!
