@akashi8994 It's more difficult than the standard rotation, yeah. It takes a bit of practice to get it down, and you have to be conscious of your cooldowns. But it makes keeping full uptime for movement-heavy mechanics incredibly easy. It's fun to be that mobile, though.
Ok yeah this is crazy and no way they're keeping this viable. I personally don't like cosplaying as a Summoner, but this "new" tech is pretty great for high movement phases and as you mentioned you can just do a hybrid with a "proper" fire phase when you have the time to anchor down a bit. I kinda want to try and learn this fight but pf's been a mess with all the 725+ ilvl requirements, I might never do it on content...
@@DacianGradaMusic Yeah, I have a feeling they are going to killswitch the rotation very fast. Having a rotation that goes against the design philophosy that much while only doing about 1-2% below standard rotation is pretty wild. And yeah... PF has been pretty ridiculous lately. Especially finding EX3 parties.
if you're unsatisfied with the PF's requiring a higher ilvl you can do the following: * raise your ilvl by doing hunt trains and s-ranks. join a hunt server to get pings for hunt trains and s-ranks. you can achieve a 730 ilvl in a few weeks time on one job by using twine/shine bought with nuts to get higher level gear. you can also trade your alliance raid coin for twine/shine * host your own PF. you can even set it to higher ilvl restricted than your own if you want. if you control the party, you control who gets to join.
@@mistahnice I've already got a few roles maxed out, but it annoys even me at times. Some people would rather wait for 45+ minutes to fill the party with 725+, and that doesn't always equal "good runs." I'd rather fill the party with 715+ in a few minutes and get some potential runs in than sit around waiting for uncertainty. I don't know how many times I've told myself, "Man, we could have cleared three or more times with min item level instead of waiting for this." Sometimes, people who know the content and have endgame experience just want to use a job they just haven't fully geared yet. It kinda blocks them from entering, too. It deters some people from even wanting to join, knowing how long they usually take to fill in PF.
LMAO I laugh at the iLVL 725 requirements to join a pf for queen eternal. The DPS check isn't even severe unless half the party dies or something and that's just at phase 1. In phase two the DPS check isn't even severe as we had half the party dead due to radical shift and still managed to clear.
this is great, if Im not mistaken you are using most instant casts for B3, when do you choose to do B4? when you are out filler spells to transpose into fire?
@@magicbeans1518 Only when using Triplecast. It's a filler spell and is completely unnecessary aside from giving more time for your resources to come off cooldown. It's does help with giving time for Transpose in some scenarios, so it's optional if you use it on the first or second Ice phase. It's more useful in longer encounters since it helps the rotation go on for longer. B3 gives all the MP needed for the rotation.
@@Lord_Sunday This was a PF party. I still prefer the AFK phase 2 markers, though. Coronation is easy. All it requires is someone to type CW or CCW in the chat before the pull so people can remember the orientation.
@@sandcastle7855 I'm not at the game atm, but I'm running a slow spell speed build (Multicaster Crit BiS). The only difference is that I have on the EX3 725 weapon instead of the 735 one. I believe it is more beneficial to swap to a standard Fire phase when able (like during burst phases or some moments where you know you can anchor down for a bit) to allow your resources time to cooldown a bit. That will make the remaining 80% of the encounter sustainable with the instant cast rotation.
@@TreborNotron Yeah, the description explains it. There are ways around it, but things drift after a while in longer encounters like this. You have to either anchor down with a fire phase or hard cast a few GCDs. (Although, I could have pressed Umbral Soul twice as a meme and kept it fully instant...) Amazing, thanks for sharing! ❤
haha well played. I feel like this is more taxing to the mind than the regular rotation xD

Why do you guys have set waymarks for p2? I would have thought coronation markers was the harder strat for consistancy.
