Yet , we can see land , islands , rocky formations in the background . Were you 70 miles out from the coast and came across some islands etc … or were you 70 miles away from where you left the harbour? These are the mokohinau islands in new Zealand, they are around 40km offshore from the nearest point of the mainland, around 110km from Auckland harbour, which is not the nearest harbour but likely the harbour they left from, there are other large islands in the background like great barrier which is quite close and very large, hope this helps
