I think LIV golf is really finding its feet... I attended the LIV Miami event a few weeks back and LOVED it!!
Can tell this Adelaide event is rocking too! Hope they add an event in South Africa at some point!
Finding it's eet? lol. No one was at Miami. This is the only event where they get any kind of attendance. They still don't have one sponsor.
Who needs sponsors when you've got nearly a trillion dollars and rising
@@codex6594 I have been a businessman for a long time. Been around a lot of people w/ a lot of money. Not Saudi money but a lot of money. One thing that I have learned is that at some point, every single business wants to see a profit. No one wants to just keep losing money week after week, year after year. The vanity project for the Saudi's will soon become a resentful one, making these overpaid golfers wealthy men when they get nothing in return. You will see, at some point LIV will die off for these reasons.
I was there and the atmosphere was electric. It was like a pure party. I loved it

Loving the team leaderboard with underdogs like the Iron Heads and HYFLYERS doing well. Gonna be another great weekend for LIV.

Just watch both no one’s gonna hurt you lol. It’s all golf at the end of the day. And this is much easier to watch with it being only 3 days and shotgun starts.

If you’re just here to bash LIV, get a life. The ONLY reason it’s not doing better is a lack of TV coverage. How the heck does the so called “Golf Channel” not cover it? At this point, the LPGA is more exciting to watch than the PGA.

What I hate about LIV Golf:
1) Team play (Golf is meant to be the ultimate individual sport.)
I agree with your three reasons for liking LIV. I’d add the shotgun start to the list. But I also love the team event. It adds so much more entertainment and drama to each event. Go Crushers!

@@gustaaf1892 we went around Glenelg in 4 hours and were visited by the clubhouse telling us we weren't playing fast enough..... and that was $170 for 18. What a joke!

As a golf fan, it feels empty to watch it.
Professional golfer are supposed to be gladiators fighting to proove whos the best and they get financially rewarded for it. Liv removes that aspect of the sport turns it into bunch artificially rich dudes having a good time playing golf.
The prizemoney breakdown is still dictated by the position they finish.
$4 million for winning or $50K for 54th sounds incentive enough to compete.
Tiger was paid $2.25 million appearance fee to play in New Zealand in 2002, more than the total purse for the tournament. Is that very different? He didn't win BTW.
LIV has it's only event where people show up.. lol. Maybe LIV should just play in the land down under. Cause everywhere else, no one gives a fook.

Don't tennis players get paid even if they are defeated in the first round ? Don't players in team sports get paid for coming bottom of the league ? Don't CEOs of companies get massive payoffs even when they fail ?
In every other sport you do get paid for competing, even coming last or getting knocked out in the first round.

Stupid comment, PGA are entirely to blame for LIV golf letting off the ground. Players have been fighting with PGA officials for years. Listen to tigers opinions of the officials 10 or so years ago. This was always coming and it’s exactly what the PGA deserves
Perhaps you should go to the PGA events in Aus. Or did they trash the Australian season back in the day.
