i have a season pass and idk why but this ride scares me more then any other. I can ride anything else all day long no problems. I was genuinely scared the one time I rode this. don't ask me why. kids ride this all day. but I can ride Titan, Superman, Batman, Texas Giant, mr freeze anything and I'm having a good time. I was nearly terrified riding this stupid thing. it just seem like someone is definitely going to die riding this some day. I'm sure it's safe, but idk. that chain seems so goddamn thin. when that flimsy feeling ass chair starts swinging around way the hell up there. omg my heart was racing so bad I know I was white knuckled gripping that chain like crazy. probably didn't help I was alone up there
Tim Eubanks I've never understood why people got scared on rides before. i can ride anything without hesotation. I've passed this a couple dozen times this year and thought, "that looks fun." it was the most terrifying thing I've ever done. I was not prepared for it at all. our seats were madly twisting. it felt like you were dangling from a string. All that said I will do it again. I have to. Can't allow myself to be scared of it.
Kawaii Cow i rode the one in great adventure, it is pretty scary, but this is 170 feet taller i am up for it, same height as dragster and ka but you are up their longer
i was there once with my cousin, he was making fun of me telling me i was scared of everything including this, i said "you know what, I'm not scared ill ride this with you." He laughed and said ok we got on, and was honestly worried but it was not scary at all, peacefully actually, i was actually enjoying myself, i looked over to find him crying and closing his eyes lol
I've been on this twice and still can't decide which was more frightening: the feeling that I was going to fall to my death at anytime or not being able to escape Michael Buble.
I never went on this ride because I didn't like how the swings were just chained it, but today my best friend asked to go on it with me and it was one of the funniest rides I've ever been on. Like 10/10 honestly
I'm reading all the comments and everyone is freaking out about the chains. I understand that the chains might look scary since they *are* the only thing holding you up, but whenever i got on this ride, i never even once thought about the chains. To me, this is such a chill ride with an awesome view.
Went on this ride (400 feet as well) today, and considering I have a bit of a fear of heights, I was surprised to find that it wasn’t that scary. Scenery was beautiful and it was indeed shocking to see the people below!
These rides freak me out. No coaster or flat ride has ever been scary to me, but this just makes me feel uneasy. I know there is very low risk, but gut feeling is telling me there is more risk than reward. Like if I'm that high up on a ride, it better be doing something thrilling, not just swinging slowly.
It depend on how windy it is. If it is really windy it will most likely twist around. Also depending on wight difference might make a difference. Specific seats spin around more than others.
Anthony Martinez omfg my seat twisted like that and the riddlers revenge which wasn't in the video ig becuz it was a while back before riddlers revenge was made,is was close to the bottom of my feet it was awesome
I only got on this once and that’s because my brother paid me 10 dollars to get on but I told myself I wouldn’t get on because it’s hella scary up there.
The last time I went up on this ride , it started twisting around 300ft in the air! I was sure I was going to fall off! I spent a good half-hour waiting for my heart to stop pounding! This is the one ride I expect to cause an accident someday. I’m surprised no one has fallen off yet.
Been on this ride twice. I have no idea how I did it since I'm terrified of heights, felt like I was close to passing out both times. I will probably ride it again one day lol
I rode this. I WILL NEVER RIDE IT AGAIN. And I have rode everything. This was the most terrifying ride I have ever been on. It feels like you are going to fall out of the thing the way it tips you and the wind blows you wildly.
The flimsy little chairs turn sideways at the pinnacle... The chains are tiny and the thing spins really fast. This ride is terrifying... my daughter held my hand and kept saying, “are you okay Momma?”
With rotational speeds, weight limits and minimums, the lines will remain taught. If there is wind strong enough to capsize a cart then the ride wouldn't be open.
I hope it’s somewhat similar to parasailing. I love parasailing (specifically the bench without seatbelts kind) and I tried the mini version of this ride (I survived!) so hopefully I’ll be okay going on it with my boyfriend tomorrow :)
Ive been on this before, it actually wasn't scary. just felt like you were flying..and the swings were very secure you weren't like twisting and falling all over the place
I was recently at six flags (last Saturday) and I was too scared to ride this ride. I rode everything except the rides that were closed like the Batman and Mr. Freeze (my favorites), Superman, Texas Giant (was closed :') ), and the Skyscreamer. I don't regret a single thing.
I miss this😞it’s not scary unless your afraid of heights. It feels like your flying in slow motion and if you open your mouth your voice becomes high or your mouth gets dry😂
I don't think I ever went to any amusement park looking for relaxation. Though the wind seeker's tubular design does look to be more safer in design, I suspect that countless hours of designing and testing helped this thing become what it is.
Had my face pressed against my best friends shoulder the whole time, thought I'd try to overcome my fear of heights, wrong ride, will never do again lol
I suppose, but I'm also aware that Six Flags doesn't have the safest ride record either - there have been plenty of incidents at these parks in the past.
Is this where the Texas Chute Out used to be? I haven't been to Six Flags over Texas for some time and don't really keep up with it. I always thought the parachute ride was unique but I understand changing things up
Yes this is where the former Texas Chute Out once was from 1976 - 2012. I never rode the Texas Chute Out but tbh the Texas SkyScreamer is my personal favorite ride at Six Flags Over Texas as of now
Im a person who is terrified of heights. I rode it with my brother I was scared. I held onto that chain for dear life lol. But it's not too bad it's a cool view and it feels like that point when you're about to drop on a coaster. Other than that. It's really safe.
It's really intense when it's a windy day! My friend and I were on it and our seats turned 180 degrees and we kept spinning, it was really fun! I also love how they play Frank Sinatra most of the time on the ride.
This was actually my first ride at six flags lol. It's actually fun & not scary at all (: even though I didn't ride the titan & Texas giant later that day -_-
Me and my family was at six flags in Missouri and we got ready to get on swings that were higher than this but then they said something wasn't right I was mad but relieved cuz they was way up in the sky type of swings
I'm home school and we have this home schooling group called "Bayou Home Schoolers" and in two weeks, the group is going to 6 flags..... and our challenge is to TRY to ride every single ride..... we may not ride all of them but we're gonna try...... so yeah if I ride this ride..... pray for me that I would be safe...... I'm really scared of heights
The height wouldn't bother me much. I'd be more worried about getting sick. Just watching the video had me ablittle dizxy trying to see what the view would be like.
Awesome. I tried to ride this Friday evening when it was only open to season pass holders, but we were stupid for not checking the weather first. We got there just in time for them to close all the rides and we were rained out the rest of the night. I plan to go back to ride it later this week, though! And did you find this scary at all? I think it looks crazy having the individual swings rock back and forth hundreds of feet in the air! But being a thrill seeker, this is more reason to ride it!
Lady dropped her hat into the lake and our swing was spinning because we were two skinny guys riding. Lots of fun, go early in the AM when no ones there
since i live very close to six flags over texas i go a lot, ice ride this ride at least a dozen times, it is NOT as scary as it looks! just don’t go on it when it’s really windy!!
Oh god I went on at night last year (cause I love tall rides no matter what conditions and it's not my first time at six flags been to both Fiesta and this one multiple times) but it was extremely cold that night and spinning around was not the best I was tucked into my jacket and just wanted to get down for warmth
There's a really fine line between thrill and life endangerment. I fear this contraption just crossed that line.
Same. I don’t even ride regular swings at the fair-the restraint system is bare minimum. no thank you.
Bro I rode that with my friend I was like bro imma die
Depends should make you sponsor
i have a season pass and idk why but this ride scares me more then any other. I can ride anything else all day long no problems. All that said I will do it again. I have to. Can't allow myself to be scared of it.
Tim Eubanks can you visit me next week I'm going
i felt the exact same. i never plan on riding this one again i hate it but i love all the other rides
Sabastian Blay right
I rode this when I was 9 and I'm never doing it again. I was slipping out of my seat.
Just seeing the way the swing twists makes my legs tingly... 😁 you can't pay me to ride this
Kawaii Cow I rode one like this it's not bad but I got sick at the top while it was spinning I won't do it again
Kawaii Cow i rode the one in great adventure, it is pretty scary, but this is 170 feet taller i am up for it, same height as dragster and ka but you are up their longer
I rode this myself and it felt like the swing would detach at any moment. It was still really exhilarating though.
Its fun trust me
I imagine it’s like parasailing, something I REALLY love doing despite an intense phobia of heights. So interested in riding this tomorrow
It’s honestly very gentle and you get a great view of Arlington at the top! And I love how it plays music on the ride.
i was there once with my cousin, he was making fun of me telling me i was scared of everything including this, i said "you know what, I'm not scared ill ride this with you." He laughed and said ok we got on, and was honestly worried but it was not scary at all, peacefully actually, i was actually enjoying myself, i looked over to find him crying and closing his eyes lol
Lol!Tell your brother from me: "Who's the scary cat now, huh?!?" lol
I've been on this twice and still can't decide which was more frightening: the feeling that I was going to fall to my death at anytime or not being able to escape Michael Buble.
lnao
I went on yesterday when your that high up all thats going through your mind is that if I fall im fucked quote"my mind"
I never went on this ride because I didn't like how the swings were just chained it, but today my best friend asked to go on it with me and it was one of the funniest rides I've ever been on.
Like 10/10 honestly
TutuCute windseeker at cedar point is a lot safer
Lol Still not riding it
That little chain is the only thing preventing you plummeting to your death??? Not worth it to me...
You gotta live a little sometimes! Near death experiences can be good for you, helps reinforce the value of life
It is worth it
and the little seatbelts they give you
@@vejet when I did something similar it wasn't near death reinforcing my values, it was torture, screw theme parks.
Me neither. The devil is a lie.
Bicycle chains (0:55 !!!), canteen chairs, 80s belt, tiny rivets .. mama where are you !??
Everything is bigger in Texas
+Celeste Munoz especially the people
+Chris G that is so stereotypical. I am relatively skinny and so is most of the people in my 6th grade class.
+Chris G yep. And I even live in Texas, and I agree with u.
Psychopath Productions if u go all the way south you won't see snow so spend all the time u want in ny
Leslie Cantu trust me when high school is over, BYE BYE NY, GOING SOUTH

I got a stomach ache just watching this. I’ve never been able to do swing rides but very impressive!
I love these kinds of rides. You need some excitement in your life and this is frightening and exciting at the same time.
Road this last night..... never again. Was terrifying.
mysticchica 1 yes you "road" it
Rode*
daipers supplied free of charge...
LOL I rode on it and did not need a diaper.
The Elevator Daily you are brave asf then concrats
Nah, no diaper required
I'm terrified of heights... I would die. XP
😂😂😂😂😂
its fun it not that high
Rollercoasters are helping me with my fear of heights
Ik the highest swing ride at six flags I've ever rode was the gunslinger
I'm terrified of heights, but they're doable if I feel somewhat safe. That skinny lil chain hanging on to the seats is makin my guts bubble
this is the only ride thats ever genuinely scared me in my life. all those 90 mph roller coasters are so tame in comparison. this ride made me cry
This is the only ride that genuinely scares me...
Just a little chain between you and certain death
This ride is my favorite type. It's slow when you move and you can see at amazing heights.
Went on this ride (400 feet as well) today, and considering I have a bit of a fear of heights, I was surprised to find that it wasn’t that scary. Scenery was beautiful and it was indeed shocking to see the people below!

i'm getting scared just looking at it
I've been on the ride before. Its not as scary as it looks its actually a pretty cool and calming ride and It doesn't spin you really fast
It’s worth it doesn’t seeing the whole park and it’s not that fast seem good to you? Going today
no you not
Rode it. its so high that my ears were popping. I felt like I was going to fall off at any moment
THIS LOOKS SO FUN!!!!!! I love heights.
me and my cousin rode this, we kept screaming "WE'RE SUPERMAN!!!!"
my gum fell out of my mouth :I
LOL!the gym THING!I can imagine THAT!😂
Gum*
yea\
Oh hell no
Oh hell yeah!
Chloe Georgina R not scary
Two types of people:
1. So peaceful, what view! 😊
2. This makes my stomach hurt! 😮
Almost passed out...
And I consider myself very brave.
are the seats supposed to twist like that way up there?
Yes
It depend on how windy it is. If it is really windy it will most likely twist around. Also depending on wight difference might make a difference. Specific seats spin around more than others.
They're all the same
Anthony Martinez omfg my seat twisted like that and the riddlers revenge which wasn't in the video ig becuz it was a while back before riddlers revenge was made,is was close to the bottom of my feet it was awesome
Anthony Martinez no
rode this last weekend with my dad. AMAIZING VIEW!!!! :)
View even more amazing @ night!
Yes Anthony Martinez. That is what makes it thrilling.
I only got on this once and that’s because my brother paid me 10 dollars to get on but I told myself I wouldn’t get on because it’s hella scary up there.
Loved the view at Christmas
I would never ride that, chains and it moves
It's not dangerous - went on the SFOG one.
Looks pretty scary
I know, I was scared, but get on it, and you'll love it.
I would rather get on the gunslinger
Drew Man you should, it is really fun
Well at least you didn't get stuck at the very top like it did today and I was stuck on it x.x
Katlyn DEAR GOD
This is the only ride that I'll refuse to go on. Too scary, too Intense.
Pussy lol jk ik some ppl who r afr afraid of heights👱
The last time I went up on this ride , it started twisting around 300ft in the air! I was sure I was going to fall off! I spent a good half-hour waiting for my heart to stop pounding! This is the one ride I expect to cause an accident someday. I’m surprised no one has fallen off yet.
It's been years sence I've been to six Flags over TX that looks, like fun
I WANT TO GO ON THAT SO BAD GOD IT LOOKS AWESOME
I went on this last week and it gives you a great view!😃
i like how they are playing "i will not bow" from breaking benjamin at the beggining xD i was just listening to that song on spodify
I'd be screaming for dear life but imagine getting stuck up there or fall
+Dimitrius Parker my worst nightmare. I would freak out and panic if I got stuck up there.
Been on this ride twice. I have no idea how I did it since I'm terrified of heights, felt like I was close to passing out both times. I will probably ride it again one day lol
That is a beautiful sight.
I have a weird weakness for these kinds of rides. Like you can’t pay me to go on a kiddy roller coaster but I’d go on this thing in a heartbeat
I rode this. I WILL NEVER RIDE IT AGAIN. And I have rode everything. This was the most terrifying ride I have ever been on. It feels like you are going to fall out of the thing the way it tips you and the wind blows you wildly.

With rotational speeds, weight limits and minimums, the lines will remain taught. If there is wind strong enough to capsize a cart then the ride wouldn't be open.
I love that ride
wow that is huge!
Oh hell no!! I value my life to much.
I got on it on a windy day lol it made the ride more scary!
So let me get this straight: one single little chain link stands between you and falling 400 ft?
I love this ride
I hope it’s somewhat similar to parasailing. I love parasailing (specifically the bench without seatbelts kind) and I tried the mini version of this ride (I survived!) so hopefully I’ll be okay going on it with my boyfriend tomorrow :)

definitely try this one
the one in fiesta texas is way slower and more peaceful with a great view!!
this looks like fun
I miss this😞it’s not scary unless your afraid of heights. It feels like your flying in slow motion and if you open your mouth your voice becomes high or your mouth gets dry😂
I Went On And It Was The Scariest Ride I've Ever Ridden But At The Same Time It Was Pretty Cool
The pad and the queue house look like the old ones from the Texas Chute Out..
i went on it with my brother, it's the scariest thing i've ever been on. Never in my life will i ride it again
As one of the of quotes from the RollerCoaster Tycoon Games would say: "Texas SkyScreamer is too intense for me."
I don't think I ever went to any amusement park looking for relaxation. Though the wind seeker's tubular design does look to be more safer in design, I suspect that countless hours of designing and testing helped this thing become what it is.
I went on a swing ride like this, yeah me and my friend were going down and it felt like it was starting to flip back i was about to cry...
I've been on the 200 foot one and it seemed to go around FOREVER! This one was so short!! But even so, no thanks :)
Am going to get nightmares riding on that ride
Cool and relaxing looking ride though
I'd say the SkyScreamer models are dangerous, but the WindSeeker models look fairly safe and relaxing.
Had my face pressed against my best friends shoulder the whole time, thought I'd try to overcome my fear of heights, wrong ride, will never do again lol
well we have same size bolts and stuff on the emergency boat on my ship, and that can hold 2200-3000lbs ..bolts ect are 8mm stainless steel
There ain’t no way! Chains break!
This ride is best at night,it glows, and I feel a lot safer idk why tho.
When i rode this, I surprisingly didn't remember the view of batman of Mr. Freeze. I just remember the LaQuinta across the street lol
I suppose, but I'm also aware that Six Flags doesn't have the safest ride record either - there have been plenty of incidents at these parks in the past.
Skyscreamer looks okay i guess, i will try anything, but i enjoyed Flashback and the Chutes. i will miss them.
Is this where the Texas Chute Out used to be? I haven't been to Six Flags over Texas for some time and don't really keep up with it. I always thought the parachute ride was unique but I understand changing things up
Yes this is where the former Texas Chute Out once was from 1976 - 2012. I never rode the Texas Chute Out but tbh the Texas SkyScreamer is my personal favorite ride at Six Flags Over Texas as of now
Hey "I will not bow" was on in the beginning :P
I rode this and seeing AT&T stadium from that high up was just really freaky for some reason
I don’t know what’s scarier, this or the dive bomber at the hurricane harbor
Im a person who is terrified of heights. I rode it with my brother I was scared. I held onto that chain for dear life lol. But it's not too bad it's a cool view and it feels like that point when you're about to drop on a coaster. Other than that. It's really safe.
It's really intense when it's a windy day! My friend and I were on it and our seats turned 180 degrees and we kept spinning, it was really fun! I also love how they play Frank Sinatra most of the time on the ride.
lol best advice for this ride get the seat next to the tower
This was actually my first ride at six flags lol. It's actually fun & not scary at all (: even though I didn't ride the titan & Texas giant later that day -_-
Me and my family was at six flags in Missouri and we got ready to get on swings that were higher than this but then they said something wasn't right I was mad but relieved cuz they was way up in the sky type of swings
it wasn't taller than this, this is the tallest
I rode this ride last year in the summer
Seeing this video made me not want to ride it even more! It looked like it was spinning so fast, and the people twisting in front 😬
I'm riding that ride on Friday
Its sooo much fun! I did that lol. And i rode the iron rattler too.
Wrong park ma’am
This is the only ride I’m ok with
It doesn't go fast like other rides but it really high man
It was an ok ride for me
Oh god I went on at night last year (cause I love tall rides no matter what conditions and it's not my first time at six flags been to both Fiesta and this one multiple times) but it was extremely cold that night and spinning around was not the best I was tucked into my jacket and just wanted to get down for warmth
oh we got a tough guy here
