Thanks! As of now I'm working on my most technically detailed project to date. I started it in the beginning of April and progress is steadily coming along, but there is still a long way to go...
Yes, because a random commenter on a YT video has all the right to make statements like that... It's 400 feet. Trust me. The 400 foot mark may be at the top of the highest flag of the topper, but it is that tall. It is VERY impressive in person, and looks much taller that the Superman: Tower of Power ride which is 325 feet tall. Also, it is more than safe. Being held up by nothing but chains is meant to create the illusion of danger, but that is not reality.
Alright, so here's the thing. I have ridden two StarFlyers and one Windseeker, and I stand by what I said. "Obviously haven't ridden a Windseeker"? Yeah, maybe other people just don't have the same opinion as you. Yes, if the winds are VERY strong, that could cause some problems, but that is why they have a strict wind limit. They cannot run it if gusts reach/exceed 40 mph at the top of the tower, and that was their excuse for closing it when I was there, even after the wind died down... -__-
Well I have been on one windseeker, and about two starflyers as well. Starflyers are OK, I just prefer windseekers, I feel safer on them. And my opinion is windseeker, yours is texas syscreamer (even though you aren't going to scream on a swing ride...). I was not trying to start an argument, I was just trying to state my opinion about this is going to have an accident or troubles. Also windseeker's queue goes by quicker, 32 pair of swings, for 64 people per ride.
I'm not necessarily sure if I call swings facing inward AND outward every trip exactly "safe". Windseeker is so much better and so much safer. Skyscreamer is a sorry excuse for a swing ride. I mean really... Your not gonna "scream" on a swing ride. I have been on a few starflyers which are very similar to skycreamers... they suck. I trust a metal bar more than 10-30 chains linked together.
"10-30 chains linked together."? LOL nice try at an estimate. There are WAY more than that but it's not like it matters. I find it quite amusing that you say Starflyers "suck," yet you like Windseekers. THEY'RE THE SAME THING. Starflyers just use chains, which increase the fear factor making for a more thrilling ride. If you meant they scare you, then good. That's what they're suppose to do. Now tell me, what exactly is unsafe about the chairs rocking back and forth? Think hard; I'll be patient.
It could be too windy, and cause the chains to collide in, or spin around and around 100 times... there are not more than 30 chains on that piece of crap. Btw, it isn't the worlds tallest swing ride... Eclipse in sweden is equally as high... Windseekers are so much safer. You have never been on a windseeker obviously. I have been on starflyers and windseekers. Windseekers are 100x better. You can't say shit until you rode a windseeker.
The Eclipse in Sweden isn't equally as high as the Texas Skyscreamer... The Eclipse stands 397 feet or exactly 121.006 meters The Texas Skyscreamer stands exactly 402 feet or exactly 122.5296 meters high.... Google calculations 🤓

And I never even made the argument that it was the tallest swing ride in the world.

Skyscreamer. Skyscraper. Screamscraper.
It doesn't look so tall but I do believe it is 400ft! I mean come on I live here!
Scary

Alright, truce.
