I came to RUclips to look for watery Egusi soup that my Aunty taught me and your video is the only video with what I was looking for.
I’m Ikwerre of Rivers State and we cook it without frying. Although my Aunty taught me and the frying version and it still turns out so sweet. I knew how to make it o but lost my skills. God help me I’ll still try it with frying, hopefully I get what I want coz I miss that soup. I think the hack is adding more water, cooking with low heat and continuous stirring to avoid that sticking and balling effect.

Most likely the egusi got burnt or stir frying was too much. Kindly try it again just stir fry for 3 to 5mims. That will be fine. God bless you.
