I got to see the 'Renegade Creation' tour with Mike and Robben Ford. Best guitar show I've ever been to. Small club, Compound Grill. Gone now, but but definitely not forgotten.
I got this Amazing man and his talent on my original music along with Abraham Laboriel Sr. & Alex Acuna. More to come! 😊 Can any songwriter be any more Blessed? Alan Sweet of ASP......
Mike is most likely the best guitar player of his generation alive with Luke of course. I can't think about anyone more versatile, delicate and ferocious at the same time. truly a tone wizard and a guitar genius. If you ask guys like Scott Henderson who is actually a longlife favourite, he would tell you the same.
Viscious Hattermaid he plays with his organs: hands. That might be a possible explanation to the mistery??? Or he might have donated all his organs so he is "the most organic"...do not know
One of the Best! Growing up in Socal Michael's cross town rival was Steve Lukather, He formed a Band in early 80's Called Dog Cheese with Vinnie Colaiuta,
Not sure "rival" is the best way to describe their relationship seeing they have both stated they have been best friends since they were 12 years old and remain friends till this day. As a matter of fact Lukather started to get so many session jobs, he couldn't take them all so he told people about Landau
Such an awesome performance! You guys should really change the thumbnail image, so people are more aware that this is a KILLIN' concert. I skipped this multiple times before realizing there was a performance, too. Just a thought! But again, GREAT show.
This is NOT the Burning Water lineup.. The Burning Water lineup consisted of Larry Klein on Bass, Vinnie Colauita on Drums. And Steve Tavaglione on Synth Sax..
Most of Michael’s overdrive comes from a Maxon SD9 when playing live. He’s also famous for using a Roger Mayer Voodoo One, and I’ve recently noticed a Jan Ray on his board. From from everything I’ve heard, most of his overdriven tones are from the SD9.
Mike has such a wonderful musicality, and seems like warm and caring human. 🙏❤️🎸
Him and Luke are my biggest inspirations from a guitar perspective and I’m a keyboardist. Absolutely have always loved his tone and writing

Probably. There may have been technically more proficient players, but his ideas are unsurpassed.
simply the best ... The most organic guitar player, ever ...
L.U D.O what does that mean organic? He doesn’t use chemicals?

Someone could tell me the name of the third song?
Is a wet-dry setup ? two inputs in the left amp for FX?
micheal as assolo the album and another guitar aa sreally song gli angeli by vasco rossi ciao goodluck ciao
Is that saturation from his amps or is he using pedals?

@@hegartyj1 cool thanks man. Love the sound and really interested in how much headroom those ml devilles have. I think I want one.
@@hegartyj1 I think ditched the SD9 for that newish Way Huge overdrive. essentially the same pedal but yeah. I didn't know about Jan Ray though.
Nice but you should have placed the one microphone better
