Sounds to me like when Ted hit his head in the cave, he should have went to get a cat scan done. Sounds like a traumatic brain injury, but I am not a doctor.
This is the very 1st creepy podcast that i listened to & my god did it have me hanging on at times, squeezing through a hole were you could very easily get stuck, the feeling of helplessness and everything to do with small spaces, the length of time chipping away at the rock face, frellin brilliant guys, I have listened every week since👍 your voice nails it Joe.
heeeeeell yeah. i really don't know why you don't have more subs, noone else puts this much detail into their videos. commented on the video without pics already and this is the cherry on top, listening to it once again in bed
Just watched the movie on this on Amazon prime and I gotta say just hearing this story is absolutely terrifying. I could never do this. Ted has a huge ballsack!
Listening to this in the middle of the night while trying to finish a cartoon. The sound design of these are always a highlight and this one is no different. if there was ever a better way to stay awake I haven't heard it.
This was ace... I am listening to different renditions of this story... this certainly has my attention... I am off to check out your other stuff... hope you are all well 😊👍🏻
wonderful narration! The sound effects and pictures really help sell the story and made listening a very spooky experience. This was one of the very first creepypasta I ever read, and it was nice to return to it after so long :)
@@CREEPYPod idk at least on android older ones seem to stop showing up as more get uploaded. Either that or something's up with my phone and not letting them load maybe. More specifically though I only see around 25 to 40 episodes at a time on bd
Wonderful Job. Here's hoping you do the complete Joe and the Tales from the Gas Station. Including Jerry's Dad jokes and Broadway renditions when the guys were suspended upside down.😆😆😆
I liked this the first time I heard it but nothing really happened at the end it was more of something changing in their own soul than something they saw in the cave.its still a great story and the claustrophobic scenes are still hard to beat
I remember reading this in 2002 after a friend from Yahoo pool said i should lol the internet was so much better back then. Didnt a movie get released back around 2010 too? It wasnt very good though.
I didn't mean to send yet. I need to go make Granny something to eat before I begin anyway. She just asked me, "what's in there to eat, NANCY?" I'll be back.
F*ck crawling through a blowhole, underground in the dark...when the otherwise happy dog suddenly stops and says, "ya _mom_ can crawl through that hole, bro", it's time to gtfo. GO!
I've tried to listen to this on Spotify and here but am having a really hard time hearing him. It's so monotone and it's almost like he's underwater. Is anyone else having this problem?
I understand the need for your voice but the value is far too low to hear during my work week. But I do like your program when I’m home or in my car. I hope to upgrade my Bluetooth ASAP.
Yes lmao. This story is cool because the creator is actually a caver, much of this story actually happened. The author started posting updates for friends and family about him and his friend's real progress in the cave and he decided to /spook it up a little/. The cave, the friend who was injured in a caving accident and told he would never walk again, the part about chiseling their way through an opening to a new part of the cave, even the dog are all real. Ted (that's really his name!) said the supernatural stuff was all added in though. I just learned this and wanted to share lmao
3 years and this is still my favorite version ❤
Oh bro this one's a classic, happy to see it! Ted the Caver gets less recognition and love nowadays.
First time I'm listening
First time for me.

The sound effects did it for me, draw me up as ultra paranoid for the next couple weeks.

The Oldest Reference to "Hyperrealistic Blood" that is out there. And it's goodly defined in a godly way.
Is it time to sleep? Yes. Am I going to listen to this anyways? Also yes.
Just watched the movie on this on Amazon prime and I gotta say just hearing this story is absolutely terrifying. I could never do this. Ted has a huge ballsack!
Theres a movie about it? Tell me more please good sir
Yes do tell
Sooooooooooooo good. I've listened to this many times and I still pick up pieces I've missed! This is one of my favorite JON narrations.
This was the first story I ever listened to on your podcast and where my love for creepypasta all started! So pumped to see this uploaded with pics!

Why is this so relatable?

wonderful!! this is the first audiobook-ish thing i’ve heard and i’m so impressed. i was expecting this to be very monotone and boring but wow!
Was really sad when this got removed from bloody disgusting along with many older ones I've been trying to find. Happy to of found this gem again
Removed from BD? What do you mean?

Yoo I remember listening to this story a lifetime ago! Thanks for remaking it :)
I believe officially the first ever internet generation creepypasta
Classic creepypasta! The best! Thanks for this, needed a distraction

Is it just me or when he says bee do you picture the bumble bee man from the Simpsons😂
I first read this back in 2006, not long after I saw the film "The Descent"... I always assumed Ted encountered the creatures from that film 😄
I’m still looking for the vid from his camera that he dropped when he was the penultimate time in the cave, it would be so cool
Just trying to find a good place to start my trip through the came.
1:32:11 just saving my spot
I loved it; thank you for this :)

Damn can't believe this creepypasta dates back to 2001...
Didn’t that dude die in a cave during the early 2000’s?
When Mojang adds the Deep Dark to Minecraft
Y’all already know this cave is an SCP

This is giving me anxiety just listening to it!
Bro I wanna see how this ends even tho I don’t like reading or listening to storys this one with a cliffhanger is just mean😂😂
The fact that there were no updates tells you everything.
I've tried to listen to this on Spotify and here but am having a really hard time hearing him. It's so monotone and it's almost like he's underwater. Is anyone else having this problem?
Same here. I tried to listen to it on Spotify, and I could not heard him very well in some parts, reading the subtitles definitely helps
Your voice is excellent, you don't need pics
Still, it’s nice to see the pictures. It makes it more immersive.
Paula Manning yeah
Is there a part two to this story?
The Descent Movie messed me up
Seems to be a repeated line missed in editing at 37:20

So this is fake right?
No.

The True Brownie no.

Wh-where’s the rest of it?
They died

It was probably Herobrine

It's actually "Ted's Caving Page," but okay.
On the creepypasta page it was Ted the Caver, calm down lol
@@empressofkingfishers8656 The official website is called "Ted's Caving Page." Not sure why people keep insisting that it's "Ted the Caver."
