I don’t understand the language you’re speaking but I understand the language of catching trout on a fly, I love your videos, they take me to a happy place, thank you!
Love the video, very wonderful experience shared! Always enjoy what you provide fishing through the recording you do on the water. Love the takes the fish make and the presentation involved to catch those beautiful fish!
Martin. Being an Australian. I didn’t understand anything you said. But your approach to fly fishing was amazing. Being new to fly fishing. I enjoyed watching your presentations of flies to rising trout and grayling and enjoying the experience with a periods of reflection and coffee. Looking forward to more of your presentations. Regards Gary
The production of your videos is awesome. However, there are many youtube channels that produce videos in a similar quality scenery, cut and stuff like that. BUT for me you are the only youtube channel I found so far, that shows how fishinig really is and what fishing is all about! You show, that fishing is not only about the newest lures and catching as many big fish as possible by using the latest electronics, but more about enjoing to be outside spending time in nature and appreciating the time spent outside. Also I like, that you always take your time for a coffee and that you are independant instead of being another brand based channel. I always enjoy watching your videos, since they are nearly as good as going fishing by myself and I just wanted to let you know, how much I appreciate the work you put into your flies and videos. Thanks so much for this great content :)
Carpe Diem videos are unbelievably evocative. Capture the essence of fly fishing perfectly. I am in awe. Stunning work. Thanks for putting in the effort to create such masterpieces and for sharing.

Fantastiskt fin film som förmedlar vad flugfiske handlar om!👍
Sorry didn’t finish that post. My wife will think I have lost it when she sees me walking around the backyard in my wader’s and goose down jacket casting to snow trout. Kind of like little snowmen but not as hard to make. Thank you again for the great videos. Out to catch some snow graylings
Another stunningly filmed video. The fish and the scenery are second to none. Couldn't understand the Swedish(?) but it didn't matter as Martin's enthusiasm said it all.
Absolutely brilliant and I love Martins take on an extended body may fly very clever to use of the pulled back fibers of the feather for the extension leaving a few fibers at the tip to represent the tail or even a trailing shuck very nice dressing
I love the video footage and I was wondering what Anders in your last video used as his tails for his files thanks and keep up the good work. Cheers!! Ewan.
Thanks Fernando. Really appreciate it :) There are several rods used in this video. For example Winston Boron III LS #4, Winston Air #5, Winston LT 5-piece #2 and a Sage rod. Cheers
Another excellent and enjoyable video, thank you. I wish to travel to Sweden next year, can I please ask: what region of Sweden is the best for dry fly fishing for brown trout, char and grayling (lots of these fish and good average sizes) and best time of year? Thanks again
Thanks :) You would have to travel up north to catch those three fish. Anywhere in Lapland is great. Or Mollisjok, Finnmark (Norway) which you see in this video. Best time of the year is July. Cheers
Great video! I am glad I figured out how to turn on the English captions. You should explain to your English speaking viewers how to do this. You could put the instructions in the description. Thanks!
@@CarpeDiemFlyfishing Yes, it is probably the same on all videos with captions. I am just suggesting point out to viewers that captions can be turn on for English and how to do it.

Amazing content and great quality footage! I don't know what is happening in the "far north" but besides this one, the best channels i am following are another swedish (Swedwoods) and a norwegian (Erik Aanderaa). The three of you are, to my mind, the best quality/content in your different fields here in youtube! I just need to save some money and go to Scandinavia to fish, camp and sail... and check it out!!! xD Thanks for your vids!! Cheers!! Ed
Hello guys I go for a little roadtrip to your beautiful country. Sure i will not miss my flyrods. What kind of flies should I bring with? I will stay in Värmland and southern Dalarna. Wish u a very good day. Best regards from Switzerland
Great vid - as you know. May I ask what you consider to be the king of dry fly rods, perhaps both overall and currently on the market, including weight and length? Sorry to pester!
Thanks Anders :) For dry flies, in relatively small waters, I prefer a rather soft rod. My all time favorite is a Winston Boron III LS #4 (or maybe #3). They don't make this anymore and the modern rods tend to be a bit faster. I also have a Winston Air and while that is a really great rod with a lot of backbone it doesn't give me the right feeling when using dry flies in short distances. I haven't tried the new Winston Pure which is a bit softer than the Air. Then there are other great brands of course; Loop, Sage, Loomis, Scott etc. I think you would be happy with either of the high end rods from these brands but, as I said, modern rods tend to be a bit on the fast side. If I was you I would try and find a used Winston Boron III LS #3-4 or maybe a Winston LT. Length 7,5-8,5' depending on the size of the water and the amount of branches etc. Cheers
@@CarpeDiemFlyfishing My I add, if you can find a Hardy Delux # 3-4, 7" (I have one), it's (probably) from the -80 and it has a wonderful action. Without question my favorite flyrod.
