@@jatinnegi4275 The footage at 3:07 with the sword is Shadow Warrior. It came out the year after Duke Nukem 3D. It pre-dates Serious Sam by four years. It got a reboot in 2013. Shadow Warrior 3 just out recently. It's like a more cocky, Asian-stylized Doom Eternal.

As a person who played Doom with only keyboards as a child... I'm 33 now and still play Doom with keyboards only. No mouse, and no mods/ports.
When I was in school, I spent most of my classes playing DooM on a cheesy school laptop that didn’t support a mouse, using keyboard controls and honestly it’s not that bad once you get used to it. It’s weird at first but DooM’s such a great game that you get past it eventually

I am the "Doomguy" player, but i like to play Chocolate Doom for Vanilla and ZDoom for mods
I feel like I'm the only person on earth who plays with freelook off, and with the weapons in the middle, just like vanilla. I've played modern FPSs my whole life, but for classic doom, it just feels wrong, and distracting.

I used to run it with a high quality resize mode so it doesn't look like Vaseline. Now I just keep it all off because it produces a huge memory leak.

I figured the “ITYTD enjoyer” came from the fact that a lot of modern mapsets go overkill on the monster count with the assumption you’ll be utilizing infighting and pro Doom monster strats.
ITYTD thus tends to be a must for casual playthroughs of slaughterwads and other difficult mapsets
Case in point: Sunder. Literally the only skill easier than Ultra-Violence is ITYTD, which is Ultra-Violence with reduced enemy damage, because Insane_Gazebo couldn't be arsed to design maps, enemy and item placement for the easy and medium skills.

Don't think the Brutal Doom would be like that since it's guns are more or less standard stuff, Project Brutality how ever is just that, shitloads of guns with shitloads of alt functions.

Also how hard is it to make your own DOOM mod? I kind of want to do my own by expanding on the original games while keeping true to their spirit and core game design.
Its relatively simple if you have a basic understanding of programming.

As someome who is new to doom and fps in general (I barely played fps before so I'm not very good at it) the "too young to die fan" was very accurate. i seletcted that difficulty and in classic doom i would just run around in circles looking for doors and shooting the demons if i saw them. It might not have been what the clips were trying to show but it looked exactly like what i was doing lol
