My wife just got the Yukon Denali with the duramax. She’s so happy with it and the kids love it.
She said she would never drive a minivan again.
Kirk, At 0:37 you have recorded a very historical moment. This may be the first time in history a driver of a new Escalade was jealous of a Sienna. 😉
Very nice review. Love the Escalade.
Cool family event, the girls had to love it.
I came here to watch beast Cadillac's review, but i am impressed with your community place it's green and superb. Btw your family is cute 😊.
If reliability and off-roading aren’t a concern… the Escalade every day.
Agree. It’s everything you need.
How reliable is that cylinder deactivation feature?
When you're spending over $100k on a car, I don't see how reliability can't be a concern, unless you are in the top 1% in wealth.
@@joecommenter1332this exactly. I see comments all the time stating that people shouldn’t care about paying for repairs if they can afford a 100k+ car. Reliability is a luxury feature and people who can afford expensive cars didn’t come to their financial position by blowing money aimlessly.
The Rolex is not the most reliable nor is it the most accurate. Just saying
Can you please do a review on a 2023 chevy traverse lt cloth I’m thinking abt getting it
Escalade drives better than the new Tahoe high country and Denali Ultimate. The Cadillac Escalade has dual coil Dampers vs single coil dampers on the Tahoe and Denali. Also the Escalade suspension is tuned different and it offers motorized, self leveling projection LED headlights. Escalade is very different and is on another level if you ask me.
If you have the money why not, for me and my family of 6 our 2014 Honda Pilot Touring AWD works great in Colorado. Plus after 130,000 miles I have averaged a not terrible 20.4 mpg, mainly city driving. Very reliable, a bit short on modern tech but other than that we love it. I do wish Honda would make the new Pilot a hybrid though.
Kirk, does your 24 escalade rear entertainment system have the ability to send map destinations to drivers as on 21 models? I can't find that featured on mine.
Does second row seat has leg rest? Like lounge seat? Or is it an option from manufacturer?
It's too big for me, but its features attract me to take a closer look at XT6, especially the future VISTIQ. Thank you for the review!
How many kids do you have Kirk happy new year
This car in black fur the last two years suddenly became the one to buy by rich folks in Iraq. Luxury, comfort, quiet cabin and a powerful engine, and you do not care for fuel consumption when the petrol is sold for for 30cents/L.
i have a 16 year old Escalade which runs fine i still love it has the 6.2 Gas Engine my Escalade is Fast
Why are the streets so narrow?
What color is your Escalade
My son has a2017 Escalade, such a Wonderful smooth riding ,handling and responsive 6.2 L engine. A pleasure driving for sure, too bad the reliability could be way better. Hopefully in the new Escalades they have addressed the reliability issues, especially when your paying well over 110K ,which I feel is overpriced
No 1 touch up and down in the back!?!? Nope. Too simple of am option to miss. Especially at that proce point. Thank you for the review!!
Happy new year…almost.
My dream family car
Awesome
I’m liking Cadillac more, especially their performance CT4.
my Escalade is cute too also
no matter the road presence, Lexus still wins over any GM models for quality... Just wait 3 to 4 years and see where any Lexus SUV vs GM SUV sits with $$$ value and maintenance. Would not mind renting one.
@@Ameer_30 good for you bubba!
I totally agree 100%
@@Ameer_30 Great post, is exactly how I feel. I do the same as you, I drive cars that I can write off and i got the best I can. my last one was the gls amg 63, now planning to get the esv sport platinum.
Yes you can’t beat Lexus for reliability. Love mine
How does this compare to the navigator or Range Rover
This is way better than the navigator we tested. Not even close.
@@KirkKreifelsWas it a smoother ride because of the Engine? I figure that the Escalades naturally aspirated V8 would probably give you a smoother ride than the turbo V6 in the Lincoln
These days The new Escalade is better then both. The Range rover is only better in the second row
If this Cadillac Chevy Tahoe costs $115k I can't even imagine what the IQ version will go for.
I’m here at fort myers beach grow up here
For me the Lexus LX 600 period.
Reliability aside this dog walks the Lexus
@@JDMSwervo2001 reliability, offroading, build quality, materials used, fit and finish, paint job, far, far better than the Cadillac. Any Lexus is superior to a GM brand...period.
@@avdp9095 you are stuck in 2001
We just got an uncle Julio’s too supposed to be really good friend of mine got the tacos
Good service. Food was the most average tex-mex I've had. Don't get me wrong, Tacos were good, but better than how I can make them? Not so sure.
Can't wait to see these in the hood in 10 years.
LX600 has the Escalade beat when it comes to reliability Period. My only complaint is why won't Lexus make the LX600 bigger? Forget the self driving super cruise. Just build the LX600 bigger. With the 3rd row seat up, there is no trunk space. With that being said....I bought the Escalade ESV V... I will just trade every 3 years, whereas if I had the Lexus, I could keep it 15 to 20 years.....
Well thats why Lexus has the TX now because interior wise, its closer in dimensions to an Escalade unlike the LX. However, the ESV version really only has 2 other competitors: and they are other extended American luxury full size SUVs
😂 Hell no, I know they're game.
LX 600 all the way everyday.
Yes, so true. The LX is superior!
This is clearly superior in every way, stop being delusional.
@@insayn7995 how can a GM product ever be superior to a Lexus🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@avdp9095 Because it is superior than most, if not all SUVs. Not even the Range Rover has as much driver focused tech and features. The Range Rover is only better in the second row.
@@Countcho Cadillac sells far Less cars than Lexus....
I’m shocked you’d pick the Escalade over an Lx 600 . But I guess if you don’t care about resale it’s ok
Lifted sienna ...
Far from it.
@@user-qc7dr3cd3qNah. That’s what we want.😆
😮
Cadillac's line up, hidious in my opinion, almost Suv only. Same for Lincoln. Gm and Ford have ruined the rich heritage of Cadillac and Lincoln with these cars. No uktra luxurious sedans anymore like the Fleetwood, Seville, Town Car etc, thise were the days. Salesfigures of Cadillac and Lincoln says it all, in a freefall.
I agree. But nobody is buying sedans right now. So what are they to do?
@@toronado455 Es sells very good, LS not however, S class, 7 series, E class, 5 series, they all sell well worldwide. But to compete with these giants you have to invest billions in technic etc.....a truck is far less complicated....better margins. And Gm and Ford have neglected the sedan segment from the mid 90's.... .
Have a look at Orlando classics website....Google it, magnificent the old school Us Land Yachts.... . I miss these cars soery Yachts.
Sorry buddy. You are stuck in 1970
@@inchlorIentztJiIu Can there be no compromise? How about a modern take on the Fleetwood? It could be taller like an SUV, the way the Rolls Royce is.
I don’t know if it’s the prices now but I see lots of CT6s where I am. That is a nice looking car. I wish they would have made a next gen for that.
Looks like a kia
Why the hell would you put 3 kids in a Cadillac? 😂 they probably trashed it. Paid 135k for it and it’ll be worth 40k in 3 years 😂
Gread Cadillac great Family.
oh man, they are going to change the desing for next year... should wait. but congrats, dream car right there
Kirk, I can’t believe you’re bashing the LX 😂😂😂.
I love my 2021 LX and would never consider replacing it with a GM truck, those afm systems are a nightmare
