I have insomnia anxiety and depression. I had a best friend called Sam. My name is teagan and I miss him a lot. He killed himself ( hung himself ) almost two years ago on the ninth of may so the throne of glass books ( especially "the assassins blade" ) mean a lot to me and I got very emotional while reading them and this song describes all those undescribable feelings I had while reading.

I can't help but think this song represents not only caelena but all the characters. I mean it could be obvious for some people but to me it took a while to figure it out a bit. The "born to be a weapon" could apply to both manon and cealetna. And "I never thought I could love... strangers at night were enough" to me is Dorian. "And the war inside me... claim what's mine" is cealena. "Flying I feel infinite" that is Manon and maybe rowan, (referring to him finally being free from maeve and off the shoulder reference to his hawk form). And "I am my own worst enemy" can apply to every single character in that book in my opinion. Of course I may be reading to much into it

I love how much this fits my character Kia in a book I'm writing! Every time I hear the song I think about her! It's just so perfect!! She is considered the antagonist of the book until she captures the protagonist and turns out to not be that bad once you break her walls down. She's a character who has been hidden from the world her whole life and has never had a chance to have a real relationship. She is the elven leader in the book and the elven leaders always get reincarnated into a new body. But that body still is a different person, just with the soul of the past leader. The part that says "I made a deal to sell my soul" would talk about the first owner of the soul making a deal with some higher force to be able to live forever. The part that says "I am my own worse enemy" is her realizing that her own soul is the reason that this 1000 year war has been happening. I still haven't worked out all the details and this probably makes absolutely no sense, but yea. Welp, bye!

Right now actually I have had a lot of things happen to me, negative things. Because of the stress I've become much colder and more harsh then I used to be. I am trying to get control of myself so that karma doesn't strike down too hard and that I can be a better person. I fell in love with this song because I feel like I can relate my emotions to the lyrics and I would like to thank you for creating this wonderful peace and sharing it for the whole world to hear. :)

Omg I have been listening to this song for a few months and I just watch this video for the first time and saw the "based on Throne of Glass" and I'm freaking out because I love that series! I've been listening to it and thinking of Fire Emblem. Also it be so cool if there was a male version of this.

This does fit in with Throne of glass really well but when I first listened to this my head was screaming at me "A Court of Thorns and Roses". It also fits in with that series really well. (It fits a bit more with ACOTAR then ToG in my opinion)

I love how much this fits my character Kia in a book I'm writing! Every time I hear the song I think about her! It's just so perfect!!
She is considered the antagonist of the book until she captures the protagonist and turns out to not be that bad once you break her walls down. She's a character who has been hidden from the world her whole life and has never had a chance to have a real relationship. She is the elven leader in the book and the elven leaders always get reincarnated into a new body. But that body still is a different person, just with the soul of the past leader. The part that says "I made a deal to sell my soul" would talk about the first owner of the soul making a deal with some higher force to be able to live forever. The part that says "I am my own worse enemy" is her realizing that her own soul is the reason that this 1000 year war has been happening.
I still haven't worked out all the details and this probably makes absolutely no sense, but yea. Welp, bye!
