Can you tell me which chilli is to use for this recipe
Hi Shruti Lama, The big green chilli that is not too spicy. Thank you for the comment. 😀😀
My chillie is the small sort, can I still use it.
@carolmadsen935. Usually we use the big green chilli for this recipe. I have not tried the small type of chilli. Sorry I am not sure how it will turn out. 😀😀
Can we use rice vinegar?
Hi @megmm5104, I'm not sure as I've never tried it before. I think as long as it's vinegar, it should work. But I'm not sure if the taste will be the same.
If you try it, please let me know how it goes 😊 Happy cooking 😀
In the UK, the small green chillies we can buy in the market are much stronger than the ones you show here (I think they come from India / Bangladesh). Would the same pickling process work for these?
it would work for all chillies but the flavour might not be the same. The chillies that she uses aren't spicy or very low. The one you're talking about is a bit spicier. I think that's the only difference.
Works for any veg, red oinions or cucumbers work well.
Hi The Ritchie2, thank you for the question 😀 Although the pickling process will be similar, do note that those small green chillis (I think they are green bird's eye chillies?) will be significantly spicier. The ones I used in this video are called green Cayenne peppers, and they are milder in spiciness. I haven't tried it, but I think Jalapenos can work as well.
Hope it helps 😀
Hi strange love, thank you for sharing 😀
