I love that this video, compared to the others, has that very slight bucket audio sound to it, as if you were now speaking through a vox instead of directly. It is an incredibly deep touch, and shows the dedication and work you put forth. It is inspiring.
You would think at the height of "The Golden Age of Technology", that VENUS would have been made habitable or at least survivable. It seems in almost every sci-fi franchise, Venus is utterly ignored, with desperately few exceptions. Venus can be cooled with a planetary solar shade. The cooling process would take centuries after the shade is built. But from there things get very easy because now you can actually touch the planet. Mars would benefit from this in a somewhat different fashion. Having its own solar shade, would protect Mars from solar winds and in both planets cases the solar shades would also act as massive solar farms providing power to fuel industry OFF WORLD allowing Earth to remain green Venus and Mars following in a similar fashion although Mars might be easier in that it would not be covered in a layer of DRY ICE. I know WH40K was created in a time when this information was not readily available if at all. But It is hard to envision a humanity even thousands or years removed being so irresponsible as to not insure that every planet they set foot on could fend for itself should the need ever arise. But then the Games Workshop overarching impetus is "just how bad could things get even if everyone has to be absolutely and unfathomably stupid to make it happen".

The Emperor was hell-bent on unifying humanity, so even if they kept him from annexing Mars, he’d just come back later even stronger, while they’d be weaker than they started out.
