Here from the Netherlands! Thanks so much for this video, it's perfect timing! We have a Tinker that we are working with on the hoefs and her nervousness where she does that same thing, moving her hind end away. Can't wait to put your advice into doing. Thanks again!
Really good work in building trust and connection. Like the way you approach her. I wish you would give her some breaks and some spray against the flies. ❤
Fly spray is great as it helps not have any miscommunication about moving legs when heavy flies. Also not sure why the horse had to worked with a sore leg it’s not something I as an owner would do plus can also allow the horse to associate what your asking with pain. But do appreciate the time and effort you put into the horse.
I’m pretty sure he’s prepping her to do the hooves without sedation. You might have noticed he couldn’t even get near the front feet without her being upset and by the end he was all the way to picking up the rear. If he can do that then the front are a cake walk. He had to get her used to even accepting her on that side. She wasn’t in pain over that if it was it was very little Besides picking up on the same side as the hurt foot actually took pressure off some so there’s that. Good job in my mind. Now they can start fixing that front with a horse that couldn’t even be handled at the start safely.

@@youknow9328 , actually by picking up the rear leg, it’s shifting more weight to the front end. Horses carry 60% of their weight on the front.
Nice stuff. It takes patience.
Brilliant thanks so much Mark
Wonderful. Thanks
What about doing a video of clean a horse utters with a horse that kicks????
Thanks for the great video!
My pleasure!
Great video. Please give the horse some fly spray!!
What does he mean when he says he wants her to connect to him?
Build trust with him, to know hes not a threat to her and she can let him go around and be around her
@@callmedave6214 Oh, okay. Thank you.
That horse is in pain on her right front leg. You might want to check that out 🤔
Maybe check out the entire video before you comment
They don't know about fly bugs !
