I've had a Silhouette for a few years, and it is just so useful. I would recommend keeping a stash of the clear backing from the vinyl. It is handy for keeping the transfer tape from resticking to the design when you are trying to get the little details to release.
I just bought a machine and started playing around with it. There are allt of great content out there, but yours is so clear and calm. Super helpful and to the point, thank you
This is great video .. instead of ironing .. what about heat pressing ? And how long should we wait for the shirt to dry This is really a dope video Thank you again
The t shirt looks ahhhhhhhhmazing🤗🤗🤗. Question(s) for you. 1. Is the decal you printed re useable? 2. Is that the largest screen ? 3. You were using your desk top ……..can the process be done via my iPad? I’ve been looking at both brands: cameo and silhouette! I like that the silhouette has a 24” model. It would be my first choice to purchase……( now I’m still debating ) This will give me more area to create my design. So many pros and cons being spoken about them both. Now that I have seen you create this tee shirt I’m still liking the silhouette cameo pro 24”. Also definitely going to check out thrifting some shirts……I did look one time and of course if the shirts were nice and clean and stain free…they wouldn’t be in the thrift store. Sooooooooo………maybe need to try other thrift stores. Really enjoyed this tutorial 🥰
I've heard that there's a way to reuse them, but I haven't tried it. I have a larger screen and you can purchase them in a few different sizes. I'm not sure if you can use an iPad, but I'm pretty sure you can use it on a Mac. I'm really intrigued by the 24" as well.
Fantastic. So helpful and so authentic. Thank you for the tips. I appreciate you taking the time to show me how to screen print on the Cameo. I think you just convinced me I need to buy that machine. I saw a video on how to use the same machine to cut fabric which can be glued onto tees I would think. Or stitched for a more authentic style. Keep creating....
Wow I love the results, such a great way of doing printing. I attended a screen printing project yesterday and to do a 3 level print it took me 6 hours!!! Loved it but this looks much easier and less messy for home use. Thanks for sharing
You did an amazing job. The t-shirts turn out beautiful. I have been using the Silhouette Cameo for 10 years. It is so much fun. I am not sure if you know or you just prefer to design with Gimp, but you can do all your designing in the Silhouette software. This will eliminate the need to trace. The program is so robust. Keep up the great work and I look forward to you sharing more using the Cameo.
This video confirmed for me that people from Houston do sound about country as heck lol. My Aunt also lives there and I tell her she has an accent while she tells me (living in FL) that I have one. You and her sound alike, so there must be some truth to my claim 😜 also thanks for the tutorial!! Getting my cameo 4 next week and I can’t wait to bust it open. I hear you can use it to cut out smaller pattern pieces. Do you have any experience or videos where you cut pattern pieces for sewing projects?
Hi Angelina, I have a question. I've started upcycling and I really enjoy it. I will retire early next year, so I will have lots of time to devote to upcycling. I'm torn between 3 machines (juki 1508NS, TL18 QVP & SailRite). My problem is, I don't know which machine would be best. Should I invest in the high price Juki, or will one of the others do the job. I don't know if there are maintenance & up keep cost, etc... Could you provide some advice/feedback? Thank you in advance.
I like the TL18 because It’s an industrial that you can move around. The Sailrite and Juki 1508 need their own table and assembly is not necessarily easy. However if you want a walking foot machine, I love my Sailrite Fabricator. I’m currently using it to make bags.
Congratulation that you have this very important new official holiday now. I heard it in the new here in Germany. Another step in the right direktion!!🎉🎊
This video is a blessing!!! I'm working on creating merch for my music and I've had the designs ready for awhile now but have been so lost in deciding how I want to print because vinyls just seem not the best for a durable shirt design and quality feel. Outsourcing is great but my goal is to be able to do it myself so I can also create merch for other bands/businesses/people but wanted to still create stickers etc. You just combined the best of both worlds with a single video and I hope this comment helps spread it because I'm sure there's a ton of people in the same boat as me!
It's the explanation and sharing for me. Thank you 😊 for this video. Love your shirts and will be ordering one of the machines. #sharethe wealth🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🤙🏾💯💯❤
Thank you SO SO much for this tutorial. I especially love the part where you note that deleting the image will not delete it from the computer. Details like that are so important. I recently graduated with my graphic design degree and have been trying to figure out what to do with it. I have a DIY screen printer already from years ago, but it takes so long to get a screen prepared. I found out a much simpler way is using a machine like this. I am considering buying this machine. I have so many things I would love to do. I look forward to watching other tutorials of yours.
Great tutorial! I’ve only done screen printing the old school way but have been wanting to give this a try! Yours turned out awesome! Nice to know the cameo can be roll feed!
Happy Juneteenth! It's shocking to me how much American history isn't taught in public schools here in the US. I hope that has changed/will change in the future. Your shirt came out amazing.
Logged on to learn how to screen transfer and subscribed when you learned you are also providing POSITIVE HISTORY LESSONS as well! #Juneteenth Thank you for this channel!
Thank you so much for this wonderful project. I just have to learn how to use my circuit. It’s still in the box from Christmas 2019. I’m afraid of it. But I think you just gave me the push I needed. Thanks ❤️
You are the Harriet Tubman of RUclips. This is so neat! The equipment is an investment but could pay for itself in no time. I never heard of Juneteenth growing up in Atlanta, GA but when I move to Houston, it was something of a celebration and when I asked about it some could not explain it but others were very vague and just said when slaves were freed here. So I thought it was a western thing. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Thank you for sharing your video. I’ve been wanting to screen paint t shirts. I love the how your shirts came out. I do too recycle and thrift shop. I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you again.
Really loved this video. I always thought it was so much more complicated than this. I think i will look into it throughly. Im disabled so it would be easy enough for me to do. Thanks for sharing. I do love the design you made. Very unique and you.
Thank you for sharing this. I have a Silhouette and do lots of stuff with vinyl but I’ve always wanted to try screen printing. Also, love the animations in your videos. What do you use to create them?
Wonderful, informative video. Your explanation of Juneteenth was perfect, & the t-shirts are amazing. I love the graphic you created. Thanks for everything!!! 👋🏼🙋🏽♀️✌🏽
A trick to see the lines cut is to get contractors chalk or line chalk and lightly dust the vinyl. You can get blue Red or white. The dust will show the outline.
Thank you, love this tutorial, love your vibrant spirit and energy.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

Silhouette makes the Cameo. Its the same brand. They make a 12 inch a 15 inch and probably the 24 inch you mentioned
I love the idea of thrifted merch! 👑

It's pretty, love it, I bought a sub printer that I haven't used yet ,now I'm wondering if I should switch to screen printing ❤❤❤

Happy Juneteenth. The tee shirts are wonderful. And it is fantastic of you to help with creating a way to generate an income. It's a great idea.
Good job! You've inspired me to look into this. I don't have the fancy 4, but I have the 3. It'll work.
Great Job ❤

Fine. Fine! You've convinced me to get one. Shopping your links for my supplies. Thank you for your insight and a helpful tutorial ❤❤❤
Hi Queennn, How long did this take to dry?
I let it dry for 12 hours, but you can use a heat gun to speed the process.
@@BlueprintDIY Woah, that’s kinda long for one t-shirt. Do you recommend for a clothing business with 100 orders to fulfill within 3 days?
@@BlueprintDIY Also can I use a heat press for it to dry?
Thank you so much for this tutorial 💕💕
As always thank you so much for sharing Be Blessed!
You are the best at explaining 💯💯❤️❤️
Hello,
Can the screen be washed off and reused??
Yes, if you wash it as soon as you’re done screen printing.
Love this!! Thank you!
hey, can you spray adhesive spray on the screen. before putting the vinley
thank you

I was like your R the bubble in the R lol when you were messaging with the 5
Welcome to Silhouette ❤
🖤🖤
Looks great its just overkill. regular vinyl or puff vinyl would have been just as good.
I think I will have to get me one and get used to using it you can make a lot of money doing slogans to
The concept and idea are great butt i just think this looks like to much work
Use a low tac transfer tape
20:22 you took the little part inside the R
