You are a f...g genius - Thank You very much. I bought a 70' tv for 50 (was bought for 889) and I did exactly what You said. I blocked only 2nd and 3rd pin and since few hours its working properly. Thank You very much I wish You all the best!!!
My TV had the same issue. I went through the steps you explained, narrowed it down to 1/16th inch of tape and the TV works great again. There is just 1 small dark line at the very top of the screen. Thanks for figuring this out!
Yesss hahah I saw a tv in the trash I got it had this problem I mmm did this and guess what it was working just great . Now I posted it on offer up and I got 100 in my pocket thank you 👍
Thank you ! I tried and seemed to work , but the thing is that even when I unplug one side whatever side it is , the image is jumping and flickering or letting lines. Do you have any idea ? Should I try to block vgh only for instance ? Thank you veru much in any case , you really help more than one life with this one !
What did you mean bu wrong signal from both ribbons? Did you mean the both sides have the issue? If yes, this method will not be worked. I'm not sure whether your tv has a T-CON board issue. So think about that as well.
@@tech-corner2556 Thank you very much for your response sir. Yeah, both side has the issue. TV does not have a separate t-con board. The motherboard has both ports.
Tried your fix - was able to get most of the screen back. Now I have a small area in the middle of the screen with 2 vertical lines about 3" - - - long. Do you suggest replacing the cables or maybe a new TCON board? Thank you - good video by the way.
I have a Bauhn ATV58UHG-0121 bought at Aldi in January 2021 with some horizontal flickering lines which appeared about 29 months after purchasing the TV. I just opened it and the 2 ribbon cables which are at the same edge of the T-con card are folded very sharply. Could it be possible that the problem in my case is in one of the cables?
Still cant believe i just fixed my TV, had flickering lines multicolored horizontally across the whole screen. I actually unplugged one side checked the what difference it made, i assumed the side still showing the lines was problematic, i ended up being correct and had to add another small strip to take thin lines away that appeared constantly. 😳 Skyworth 49 inch smart tv
thanks I did the same trick, the flickering gone. But now it shows a horizontal lines at the top of the screen (more usable than before when it's flickering). Any idea Sir, what could be the problem? It's Samsung tv btw. Thanks in advanced
@baghol, Try to reduce the tape thickness. May be it is blocking more lines. and try with different locations(blocking different lines in the ribbon cable). Again, it depend on the damage, may be you can fix it completely may be not... Good luck..!
@@tech-corner2556 thanks I did it until only 1 line blocked. It still have lines at the top of the screen, but after few days it disappear. Money saved! Thanks for the tip

@@mobiledeveloper8838 Then bad luck. But just give it a try from the main board side by adding tape. I'm not sure whether it will be worked or not.
