thanks for the info....I dont feed mine so much but I also free range them...rt now with the acorns falling they are not eating as much feed, some days they dont even come to the feed

Twice a day is better. But you can do once a day.

For me I feed them twice a day, so as to check on them and resolve problems quickly when they arise. So I dived the daily ration in half for each feeding.
