- hello my friends ✨ In this video, I'm painting in my Etchr sketchbook and experimenting with my acryla gouache. I want to continue improving in my traditional paintings, and I've learned that I absolutely love acryla gouache and its consistency and application. I think I'm going to put watercolors on the backburner for now (they only cause me more frustration than actual enjoyment) and focus on improving with these paints.

I really enjoy watching process videos and seeing the occasional less than perfect finished picture is truly exciting! I believe that you created wonderful art! I have painted with watercolor paint for years and years. I have tried so many mediums and paints. I have always came back to watercolors. I have struggled too! But I find if I slow down and stop forcing myself to create perfect pictures I have more successful art. My favorite fruits are citrus, Oranges, Lemons, Limes! I like Pineapple especially when eating sushi! It works so well when switching courses! I have enough art supplies, Please make sure a truly needy person receives the gift. I think it's cool that you're willing to admit how you really feel about a medium. I think I only stuck with watercolours because for a while I really wasn't enjoying using them, but I had already built it up in my head that they were going to work for me so I just pushed through it. I love them now, but I didn't realise at the time that I couldn't be honest with myself. Very interesting to hear someone else's perspective. My favourite fruit is mango!!
I also love how you block in the paint to start building up the face 😍 I love the building up of portraits with geometric shapes it’s so soothing to see. And do!

This makes me want to try gouache again (never tried acryla gouache). Thank you for acknowledging the pressure that comes with making paintings for videos. I used to crank them out and now I have a lot of paintings on my channel that I don’t like. Maybe I’ll try the project model.
These paintings turned out great. I love the use of color and how you sculpted the facial features with such effortless strokes (at least it looked effortless :p ) I just started a gouache sketchbook and watching this video inspired me to do more. Fantastic job, hope to see more gouache paintings in the future.

My favourite fruits have to be Rambutan and Longan. It’s too hard to pick between my two babies. I’m Filipino so for other places outside Southeast Asia, it might look a little intimidating. But I’ve loved these fruits as a child and they are just so gosh darn addictive. And digging your fingers into the flesh of the fruit to peel away the exterior just to be met with a white sphere of goodness is so rewarding!

@june_monstera and I think my favorite fruits are cherry :) But I'm not quite sure, watermelons are right behind with strawberries and mangos. I think the project idea isn't bad, but maybe it needs to be prepared a bit more with a longer/more detailed introduction maybe where you show what you are talking about. Your video is really pleasing to the eye and I enjoy the most to see you paint, but I was also a bit lost and confused (note here, that it is late and my attention span is not the best anymore rn so maybe, I'm at fault lol).

I really relate to this video because there are so many times confidence affects my artwork, and sometimes it could be stressful, especially if I dedicated a lot of time and effort to that work.

Wait, i just realized your lips, eyes, and nose tutorials are gone, those were my life support! May I ask why you decided to take them down?
I privated almost half of my videos that I don’t think resonate with my style and personality anymore. I made weekly videos for years in high school when I had to measure my personality because of the toxic and controlling family I had. I’ve changed so much as a person, in my confidence and style, and I want to remake those videos so that I can be proud of them! There won’t be any good information omitted as I remake these videos 🤍

I have only ever used watercolors. I started using them after I watched your videos painting with watercolors in my first year of college. I am always excited to see you take on different mediums.
