    Thank you Jennifer, your salad looks wonderful and I know it'll taste great. I have your recipe books and everything I've made has been fantastic! Your recipes are my favorites. When someone posts or asks, "What's a good raw vegan recipe book to get?" Your books are what I recommend. I appreciate the time and effort that go into your recipes!

    I got a big kick out of the way she massaged the salad with her hands and then used the wooden salad hands to put it on the plate. Ha-ha.

    How do you store the other half of the avocado?

      Store the half with the pit inside wrapped in plastic wrap or in a ziplock bag in the fridge for up to 2 days

      the dirt contains healthy bacteria and b12.

      Ohh..I heard that nutrients will be washed out if washing the veggies too many times. but how can you eat your salad with dirt in it? And I find a lot of dead/live bugs in the organic veggies..

    • @marcostott
      @marcostott 10 лет назад

      you can wash a little bit to remove the dirt...it is up to you really

      I do wash organic food. I give it a quick rinse because lately some of our organic produce literally has clumps of dirt in there - - but rather all the people that have handled my produce that bothers me, so I wash it.
      I wash apples well for example, because even though they're organic - they are still sprayed (I've talked with organic growers) and I'd rather not be eating whatever has been sprayed on them, even though it's approved for organic use.
