Great upload man, atmospheric and a bit scary! I once tried hiking at night and by mistake because I lost the trail a little! Definitely not my cup of tea 😁😁
I did Mt Whitney (California) recently and we started at 1:00 am to summit and get down before dark that night. I still didn't make it back before dark. Maybe next year I can go faster. I hike this local peak at night sometimes, it's a popular trail so I always see people. Thanks for commenting!
You are brave! I can't hike in the dark. I have such a hard time seeing. The sky did look pretty at dusk. I hope you're feeling better, my friend! I was feeling the same, went to Yosemite for 3 days to rejuvenate 😊 Cool that you saw a newt! Remember that hike when you were in the dark at the summit and there was a lady that spoke to you out of the darkness? 😂😂😂 Good times!
Yes that was so funny! I think I'm feeling better, or more numb? ;-) I saw like 10 newts! It's weird how the frogs and newts were just out in the trail for like a mile. I see your 10 Falls video is up so I will check that out. Hope the falls were going strong. I went around X-mas time and they were raging. Oregon is awesome. Yosemite...man I need to go there.
That's a trip how dense it got as you hiked. Makes me think of those chambers where it's completely dark. Trying to see how long you can be in complete darkness before you lose your mind. That newt looked cool. I only see the orange ones.
I've seen orange newts on the western side of San Jose. Well one. I need to make a vid with all the animals I've encountered. I have one but never posted it...it has the drunk orange newt. I think your description of how they walk is accurate...they look hammered.
That's what my Mom said when she watched this. She worries ;-) Definitely a learning experience for me. I saw a couple of people on my way down so I wasn't entirely alone. A few seconds of their headlamp and then gone into the darkness.
@ I’ve a lot of might hiking and it never gets any easier. It’s good she worries. ❤️ Safety first. And I agree, it’s a little easier when you’ve done the trail before but only a little. 🙃
Smart dude! Whenever I start losing faith in humanity I just like to get outside and walk. It’s restorative. For a little while at least.
Ya, gonna be doing a LOT of it now! ;-)
Hello friend good afternoon my friend ❤❤❤👍👍👍
Hello to you too my friend! Life is good! 😃

Not just disorienting but super creepy too, lol.

Mission Peak!! My record is 80 minutes up, 40 minutes down.
I'll have to take a speed "run" up it and see what I get. Definitely not that fast! I love Mission Peak. I like to hit it at least once a week.
