  • Here's a real easy do-it-yourself way you can make sleeping for 4 length of over six and a half feet long and you can do this really cheap even in your driveway like I did watch and see what I did. This design allows the full use of all 4 seats too!

What I did with mine was installed with two way tape on the rear windows cut to fit window screen to keep bugs and debris out, aswell as a power inverter hooked up to solar panels

I would suggest NOT just drilling into floor next time your creating a hole for both fumes and possibly water or what else and mainly you don't know if your drilling into brake lines, gas tank ext. Assume screws not that long but still not a chance I'd take. GOOD video thou man thank you

I saw a video recently where a guy said to never screw a screw into a new place...he had taken most of his seats out and used same holes to adhere boards to carriage

Did you know that you can put the seats in the storage compartment underneath them so the whole back is open

The board at the back could have been double hinged by simply using a one by to strip the same with as the bed hingeing that to the 1 in the middle and hingeing it to the piece on the end cutting off the extra inch you won't need and then you could send or miter the edges so it doesn't keep scratching The interior
By putting a double hinge on it will lay flat like a table and you'll be able to sit on the floor and actually use it as a table when you're eating and have your mattress rolled up in between the front and back seats on the floor
I have the last Town & Country they made That's from 2016 with all the televisions and electrical outlets and such. I would fold the seats down into the floor at the front but your idea here is awesome because I would have a part that would remove if I wanted to fold that back and open the seats from the floor but I think the extra space without the seats would come in handy seeing that I actually have a real toilet that I would actually put in there because using a restroom at a gas station for instance is very inconvenient for women
Another thing is I'm trying to figure out a way to make curtains for the back as well as maybe a small table where my feet can go underneath when I'm sleeping and I can place a 23" television by the back window meaning I'll also need another curtain for the back that has 2 rods 1 on top one on the bottom where could be pushed open using to panels 1 on each side
It would be nice to be able to get in touch with you. I am on Facebook if you're intrested I would be intrested in getting information from you about your ideas on how to keep the integrity of my Van while using it in a conversion type of way because my family is getting on my nerves and I'm finally ready to just take off and go camping for a year :)
If you feel like googling me 1st to see that I'm not psycho or anything my name is Patricia Homan Davila And you could find me everywhere from Facebook Twitter IMDb LinkedIn and other places. If you find the person that worked in television and didn't make much money that's me :) thanks for your video and God-bless you on your journeys

Maybe not be not so interested in a perfect rectangle for the bed base. Trim the plywood as needed for more clearance for the car interior trim. Just a thought. Good start. Like to see it finished.

Why would you put wood in your car? Now you have permanently limited it to 2 seat belts. Good luck surviving an impact with more than 2 people.
