This was my song when l married my husband in 1973, my hand is still hand in hand and by my side, we just celebrated 50 years of wedding bliss❤
That is so nice❤️❤️🎉🥂
Nderek bingah❤
Congratulations
Damn thats an achievement
❤GOD BLESS YOU BOTH ❤
The music of the sixties is the best ever . So many beautiful songs and singers. Long live the sixties
Today is our 47th wedding 💑 anniversary. But only I am around to play this perfect 🥰 song sung so well. My dear Angela ♥ is only here in spirit. She went home to our Father in 2016. She was an angel just like her name says. As I type through tears I can only add , ❤ each other dearly because you don't know how much time you have to enjoy each other. I love you Angie more than ever. Ty Julie Rogers.
By the way today is Feb. 14, 2023, VALENTINE'S DAY , Angie and I made sure we got married on this wonderful day .
Well your comment brought tears to my eyes. And I am old enough to know how precious time is with the one you love. It’s a sad fact of life that if we love, one of us must lose one day. You sound like you had a wonderful life together so hold on to all those memories. Your Angela wouldn’t want you to be sad.
I married my wife in 1978 and when we got blessed in 2006 i played this in the car for her on the way to the church. We call it our song. Married now 39 years and still going strong, love her more than life itself.
What a voice
lovebirds
Lucky couple, congratulations^^
r u pip Collins ,ive heard him sing this song on stage, and if it is you you do a fantastic version ,if its not you I advise you to give his version a play on you tube its brilliant
Lucky life, Sir.
But this is a sad feeling
Married in 65.and this was our song.
It was beautiful then and it still is.and we are coming up to 55 years.2021..
This woman has one of the greatest voices I have ever heard. This is not an easy song to sing and she did so live to perfection. She is highly attractive and her slight hand gestures were quite alluring. I believe she never hit it big since she never had a hit song. Even though she had the talent there is so much luck involved with fame.
This got to number three her biggest hit she than had 2 minor hits like a child and the Hawaiian wedding song
You are spot on!
PLUS IF YOUR LABEL WONT PROPERLY PROMOTE YOU. EXAMPLE: HELEN SHAPIRO. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HUGE. SHE EVEN KNEW THE BEATLES..AND YES JULIE HAD A FANTASTIC VOICE.
Her voice was utterly fantastic.

I have no idea why this lady Julie Rogers never became a far bigger singing star than she did. She had an exceptionally beautiful voice & was also a knockout of a looker as well. Mark Breeds says he has never seen anyone on any talent show come close to this lady. That makes two of us!!!.
Same as Judith Durham of “The Seekers”
@@ptph37 The Seekers were one of the biggest selling groups of the 60s and still sell out tours...
@John Smith John.
Julie is still a lovely lady.
@@ptph37 That's true,Judith has one of the greatest voices. Can still sing like an angel,
Spot on!
What a beautiful song for all Generations and will surely stand the test of time. A beautiful song is sung by Angel's voice. God Bless Julie Rogers,

I can't believe, I'm watching this video or rather hearing this song after donkey years. I'm 67, and listening to it took me back memory lane, when I used to request AIR , Saturday Night Request to play this number
I also love this song my husband passed away the 7 of May 2000 24. Years ago and I still miss him so much
Same here, it was my first dance at my wedding. Sadly my husband died 8 yrs ago now. 60s music is the best.
I loved this song when it came out. The 60s were wonderful times for me and my beautiful wife to be. Memories that last a lifetime.
Das war noch Musik wovon man heute noch Träumen kann.
Me,too.was four years old..just mo ved to our current city.
I was born two weeks after Pres.Kennedy was assassinated..I like the 60's songs even I was born 1963..I often listen this song ( The Wedding ) San Francisco, California Dreamin and many more..
Ok

Waited at the altar for my beautiful, soon to be wife, listening to this song. 42 years later we are still going strong and she is still as beautiful as she was then.
We married in 1965 and celebrate 59 years in October…..love does last! ❤
I've heard this song many times but nobody sings it like Julie her voice is so beautiful it brings me out in goosebumps

By Joaquín Prieto
Singer Antonio Prieto
Chilena Magnificent Song great cover in english
Apparently she was also a great impersonator of other singers
I am still listening to this great classic on 3/4/2024, but with my deep sorrow and tears now because my wife who used to listen to this song with me passed away in 2021. I miss her even more while the lyrics and melody of this song are coming to my body and soul.....
God bless

Julie Rodger,s puts her heart and soul into this lovely song.

Fell in love with this lady back in '64. Now this brings back sweet memories of my youth.
My mams favourite song and mine and I'm 72 years old.
My dear sister had this played on our local radio station for me and my husband on our wedding day 1972, still a favourite to this day ❤️
Em 1872 eu tinha 9 anos 🤔
@@MariadasGracas-to8kcI hope you meant you were nine in 1972, because 1872 would make you the oldest person alive!😮
My wedding was two weeks ago and this beautiful song was my entrance walking into the church and down the isle ❤️
A wonderful choice. Have a long and happy marriage.
Mine also 30 years ago sung in half English & Spanish beautiful beautiful song ♥️
" Wow," " That must have been some " Entrance," for the " Bride & " Groom,"...." And not least the waiting " Congregation."...." If I could remarry again ,this song would be top of the list."x

The wedding song is so haunting but beautiful at the same time ☘️☘️☘️
This is still for you Princess...even after 23 years.💔💔💔
Had a friend who was an opera singer sing this a my wedding 1973. Still haply married 2019. 😀

Treasure your true love !
this song never fade throughout the generation. sing and sang again and again during the wedding ceremony. The most sentimental vocal goes to Julie Rogers. Nobody can replace her
In the past, this song was often sung at weddings. Now it's no longer sung, especially during this pandemic. I really miss that moment.
A sixties classic that was played for many wedding ceremonies.
How on earth did this lady not become a much bigger & more famous singing star?. Julie Rogers had a beautiful voice & was also a knockout of a looker. Everyone seems to agree she had an enormous talent!.
one of the best
She was a big star back then
Sure did I wonder where she is 2day I'm an Aussie fan❤
Excellent, Beautiful both the song & the singer well dressed else today's singers nothing compared to her only exposure
she sang the high note very smooth. today the singers scream when reach the high note.
I saw a current artist singing dressed in raw steaks
I used to sing this song in my elementary class while waiting to our teacher to come.
This remains my favorite.
I love this song reminds me of my wedding ❤
when did you get married??? and did She sing at your wedding?? how did you manage to get Her to sing at your wedding....if i were Your Husband and She was at my wedding singing this song.....i would of married Her...
VERY well sang indeed (!) Julie! NEVER get tired of listening this song year after year, before that month after month! USA
I think this song is the timeless beauty of the music.
God bless you.
Thank you.
+Kangrae Cho You are so right...My favorite song in 1964 and still is today...My daughter got married to this song in 2010 in Taiwan...
+Robert Davis Mona Fong also did a good job with this song in 1965.
And God bless and love you. My brother
Truly wonderful voice and performance. Very best wishes to Julie and her family.
Julie is 80 years old now, the song was recorded in 1964..
A beautiful song, sung by a beautiful woman. Still on my playlist!
I love to listen this song
A great singer this song is just perfection.
Bring back those days I miss them so much
I walked down the aisle to this in 1992, so memorable
Hello Diana, how are you doing?
My Mams favourite, and we had a singer to sing it at my wedding too.
Such beautiful, meaningful lyrics that mean so much.
Notice how she is beautiful as is. Conservatively dressed, but appealing. She doesn't have to walk out half naked, strutting her ass all over the stage, with so many tattoo so she can get noticed. Just read some of the positive comments, by the men, as well as the women. She's got class. Yes, the type of women you can take home to mother.
She was a lady not like tartes to day disgrace
Julie Rogers presentation of this song is the most beautiful example of a young English woman that could possibly be imagined (and I say that, not being English myself). What a wonderful time it must have been for her. I do hope the intervening 56 years have been kind to Julie.
No doubt about it Julie is the best singer ! She’s 78 yrs old , wish her well ! 🙏🙏
I cannot believe she is 78 years . I must be living g in the past.
Please check out on google , they will provide her information ! 🙏
My mother loved this song❤️

A few years ago I went to see Keely Smith at Ronnie Scott's, she asked for requests and an attractive blond lady gave one.It was Julie Rogers.
Great singer, great stage presence and a great looker!!! ❤️❤️
She just stands there and belts it out. Beautiful!!

This was my parents song, my mum used to sing this in perfect pitch with her lovely voice especially the high notes.
Even now when I listen to this it gives me chills and can still hear her sing it even though she died a long time ago. 😥😥
@Quincy Breed Awww, thank you. 😊👍
My voice has a higher pitch especially when I am on top of a coconut tree.
Still alive actually
That was beautiful. I can tell she was a classically trained singer. Her resonance proves it.
...só beautiful! And so my dear university lover and I walked down the isle in Cape Town on 29th May 1965...still in love and together!

The original song in Spanish is really sad, in comparison, this lyrics are sweet and beautiful. In the Spanish version, the bride is crying because she's marrying some guy she doesn't love while thinking about her real love. Beautiful and sad song.
What is the spanish version called please?
@@ElliotFlowers La Novia.
En realidad es de el compositor chileno Joaquín prieto , inmortalizada en español por su hermano Antonio Prieto , es la original.
Such a golden voice!
Such a powerful song .Enough to blow anyone away .Such a great person .
I have always loved this song from the very beginning ❤
well today we have all these so called talent shows however nothing comes close to this lovely lady just amazing
mark breeds Have just read your comments and I was thinking exactly the same thing , that was a time when you had to have talent , today you don't need any, you just need to get on a TV show ,parade and sqwauk in front of four judges who wouldn't know talent if it hit them in the face plus have millions of mindless people vote for you and hey presto your famous ! ,at least untill the next series .

Until 9 yrs old Amira Willighagen won Holland's got Talent.. in 2013 ?..now she is still only 15 yrs old and stands on stage with the best opera singers in the world...!! I loved Julie Rodgers from the day this song was released.. it is timeless! ( so am I..!!!)
This was a hit in the mid sixties - I was in Singapore at this time and the local TV channel had a talent show and this song was sung by all ten contestants! Needless to say I don't like it as much now but still a beautiful song sung by a beautiful Julie Rogers.
How very very true😊
